Living Skyrim 4 map issue
Hello, I've downloaded and installed Living Skyrim Collection using Wabbajack. It all works EXCEPT the map which is a blue screen with some patches of map but barely anything. It seems that something overwrites the textures, or anything. I'm really not sure, I tried to delete the paper map mods available in the collection but it did nothing. Does anyone know which mods from the collection may be responsible? I'd gladly post my load order, but it's too long, the Steam board won't allow that.

I would be very thankful for any suggestions.

Somebody here may be able to identify your problem, but remotely-debugging modpacks is difficult at best, even for somebody who already has this installed. Anybody else would have to research what mods are in your pack, and very few people are going to be willing to do that.

While you are waiting--
-Contact the author of your modlist. The author is the person most likely to figure out what is causing a problem. I believe there is also a Wabbajack discord for things like this.

-Go the the modpages for your UI and Map mods and search in the comments. There may be known problems with one or more of your mods.

-Removing mods from a large modlist mid-game may cause long-term problems. If/when you figure things out, either reload a save from before you removed mods, or start a new game.

Thanks for the first replies. I'm doing some digging, and I tried to remove all PAPER 2D map variants, which kind of brings back the original 3d map, but still bugged. Still, it shouldn't cause this problem because the paper variants are an integral part of the collection's immersion aspect. Another thing are the LOD modifications and plugins, but I have no experience with them and don't know which ones could cause this. I have the following LOD modifications:

DynDOLOD Resources SE
xLODGen - Generated Output
DynDOLOD Output
LOD Unloading Bug Fix

And one which is disabled (DynDOLOD Output) which is set within the Flat World Map Framework however it's all disabled since I wanted to recover the 3D map.

Additionally, maybe this can help: I was trying to tinker with the map mods but it still gives no results: the map oriented mods are as follows

HD Local map (i suppose it has no effect because the local maps work well)
Atlas Map Markers SE - Updated with MCM
Flat World Map Framework
Immersive Paper Map (3rd Edition) By CKW25
Paper Coldharbour Map for VIGILANT (FWMF)
Paper Sovngarde Map for FWMF
Paper Blackreach Map for FWMF
Forgotten Vale Paper Map for FWMF
Duncan's Solstheim - Bruma - Wyrmstooth - Falskaar - Grey Cowl Paper Maps for FWMF
Soul Cairn Paper Map for FWMF
Skyrim and Solstheim Paper Maps by Mirhayasu for FWMF

Alas I figured out the first thing. Using ANY 2D map causes the issue, because a normal 3D map works fine when I disable these. But why?

I'm not trying to be negative, but given the files you are swapping in and out I want to repeat my warning about removing files. My worry is that you may end up having to reinstall your list.

If you remove output files (and you said you've disabled dyndolod output) you might end up with missing textures or ctd-causing mesh errors.

If you remove or change mods without replacing the tool outputs generated with those mods you can get weird-looking results in-game. A harmless example of this from my own modlist is grass caching. I'm testing a small mod that added a dungeon that made a small terrain change. I didn't bother re-running the grass cache and consequently have a floating grass patch near that dungeon. In your case, some of the mods you are changing have a much bigger footprint.

It is still possible somebody might recognize your exact problem and propose a simple solution. I was hoping that by checking the modpages you might have found a missing .ini edit or MCM setting. However, I still think this needs the attention of somebody who knows exactly how this list works.

Indeed mod lists in general (such as collections and Wabbajack) you have to take as a whole sure if there's room you can add some small mods, but in general those lists are fine tuned to work all with each other

Seems I wasn't clear enough. I didn't delete/disable anything in the first place (DynDOLOD was disabled by default). The map thing was broken IN THE BEGINNING. I'm saying that getting rid of these mods actually helped me regain the original map.

Now I have a different problem, seems that some items are vanishing after reloading a save, for example rusty armor. I'm trying to fix that now.
I also have the same issue with LS4. I've not messed with anything and the map has suddenly gone blue.
