Be careful when using staff of worms.

So I got the staff of Worms and was looking for something tough to use it on. I decided to use it on Jyrik Gauldurson , a boss drauger you kill during the Mage College questline. It was going great. He's tough, summons a frost atronach, shouts and is generally tough to kill.

Well, he was eventually killed I guess because he stopped following me. I had my fun with the staff and got annoyed at all the people saying Get That Magic Away From Me! So I packed away the staff and went about my business.

One day while exiting Lakeview Manor, there he was, standing right outside my house. I'd wondered what ever happen to him and now he's back. But, wait, why is he attacking me? No problem. I killed him before Ill just kill him again.

A few arrows to the head and he's down, kneeling on the ground, with no health bar?!? WTF!

A few seconds later and he gets right back up again and continues attacking me and my steward. After a few times and trying many different things, he just wont die.

So I now have an unkillable Jyrik outside me home.

I tried many different things and nothing worked. I tried using the staff on him again when he was down. I tried running away and fast traveling. I tried reloading. I tried summoning other things. I tried using the staff to reanimate another dead NPC. Nothing worked.

Eventually I just lead him to the river and Force shouted him out into the water and ran to loose agro.

I would use console commands but this was on Xbox.

Just be careful when using this wonky staff, you might get more than you bargained for.

Check the jarl's backside, that's usually where he stuffs himself these days.

If he's been packed inside a Soul Gem prior .. then that can be quite literal.
They are the right size.

With me, even with no thralls at my call atm, game THINKS I have some summon so whenever I see anyone, they go "Be careful with that spell!" ...I have since then raised my cap of minions (3, 1 with Dark Soul and 1 with with Conjuration Perk), And it still happens... -_-'
