Is Necromantic Grimoire for Anniversary only?

Is Necromantic Grimoire for Anniversary only? Or can it be played on Special Edition like the Fishing one. I can play Fishing fine on a 2020 version of SSE, needing only a patch for it and JKs Skyrim. Really don't want to have to redownload and install so many mods.

Anniversary is Special Edition.

There are no separate game versions "Anniversary Edition" is just a "dlc" that bundles and unlocks all available creations for Special Edition.

Cool. If that is the case then I might not get Anniversary Edition because a lot of CC's dlc I really don't like. However, the Necromantic Grimoire makes playing an evil vampiric necromancer a lot more viable.

Yes, but there are a number of CC mods that only exist for AE, that is to say if you don't get the AE bundle you can't buy them from the CC..... at least not yet.

Yes, but there are a number of CC mods that only exist for AE, that is to say if you don't get the AE bundle you can't buy them from the CC..... at least not yet.

I thought the AE news release said you could buy the new ones individually?

Not sure, but they did say before the launch that there were so many CC mods that were AE only, mind you that may have been Marketting in Bethesda rather than the development team (who was one person I think)
