A lot of mod collections on the Nexus aren't visible and instead hidden, because it requires people to downgrade their game to a specific version.
If you are new and only played "the basics", why do you want a mod? There are hundreds of mods out there. No proper suggestion can be made without knowing what you are looking to get from mods.
Play the game beyond just "basics". Get a feel for it and then once you know what about the game you wish to mod, then you have a starting point.
