Try nordic souls. Its very good. The best imo. Doesnt turn skyrim into dark souls or god of war. Stays as vanilla as possible but overhauls core mechanics and makes them more modern etc.

We always say, "play the game first", this is so u have a idea, of what you want, jumpin straight into MODS jus coz some-one says so, is a bad idea.

Djura said "Nordic souls overhauls core mechanics", why not try the "core mechanics" first, see if they suit.

You allways sample a new good, b4 u buy YES? gaming is no different :-)

A lot of mod collections on the Nexus aren't visible and instead hidden, because it requires people to downgrade their game to a specific version.

If you are new and only played "the basics", why do you want a mod? There are hundreds of mods out there. No proper suggestion can be made without knowing what you are looking to get from mods.

Play the game beyond just "basics". Get a feel for it and then once you know what about the game you wish to mod, then you have a starting point.

depends on what you want to add to your game...just a general question with out this is next to impossible to answer. we can give you thousands of suggestions but unless we know what your looking for 99.9% of them would be useless.
