Also the hobs fall cave, is in response to Necromancers Grimore, those tomes only appear if u have that MOD, and it wsent included in the upgrade.
HFC exsist's jus - the tome chest dosn't.
I think you need to learn the mechanics first.
Sneak can be leveled to 100 in about and hour by sneak attacking Hadvar/Ralof in the same cave. Sneak attacks level it faster than just sneaking. If you're past that part of the game. sneak in the main hall second floor of Dragonsreach, does not take 2 days either.
Turn Undead is much faster than healing to level restoration. Works on any undead, but the 3 in Whiterun's Hall of the dead are the easiest.
Hob's Fall cave only has that chest if you have the Spell Tome Creation, it is not part of the base game. That glitch also does not work for destruction and requires you to have zero magicka cost. There is no "fast" way to level destruction, you must deal damage to level the school.
Conjuration is good.
That used to work, now that's the slowest way to level smithing in the game. Use jewelry and dwarven arrows, until ebony, then make ebony bows for the rest.
There are no shortcuts for One-Handed Two-Handed or Archery, those require damage done, and should level normally by playing, but if you want squeeze out the most, use the highest BASE damage weapon you have, you get more xp the higher BASE damage a weapon has. Playing on a hugher difficulty will level them faster.
For Light, Heavy Armor ,and Block. Get hit by the strongest things you can reliably survive. Giants work best but they are a not beginner friendly. You can also level restoration by healing from the damage.
PickPocket and Locking are pretty straight forward.
Speech requires buying and selling items, or bribing people. Persuasion and Intimidation checks, none of this is fast. Training might be your best bet,
Alchemy is simple, create the highest value potions you can, just like with Smithing, the gold value = XP.
Enchanting is a bit different, each item crafted gives you some base xp regardless of the gem, items, enchantment or gold value. Only time gold value comes intp play is when disenchanting, a high value item is worth more. The Fastest way is to use a staff enchanter though,
Illusion is one of the easuest, cast Muffle, you're done. Until the Master Spell Harmony at any rate which can max the skill from 15-100 in as little as 2 casts.
That would be slower as you're getting less attacks in from the damage the summon is doing.
As I mentioned, Smithing XP is based off the gold value of the item crafted. You can level however you want of course, but if you want speed and efficiency, leather isn't it.
Specifically for Smithing, I like to raid Halted Stream Camp and use the Transmute Ore Spell also found there to turn my Iron into gold and make Jewelry. That's the first step, then dwarven scrap after that. You'll also want to Clear Redbelly Mine at Shor's Stone. Doing that will make you a "friend" of the Orcs (there are other ways but this is the easiest) gaining you access to Gloombound Mine, the only decent source of Ebony in Skyrim, you'll want that for later.
You can alternatively clear Kolskeggr Mine, which also makes you an Orc Friend, and has a massive about of gold for more jewelry crafting but that requires being able to defeat Forsworn instead of spiders.
Followin my own advice, my 1 handed is at 31, an all i done was bleak falls burrow
Daggers also have low base damage, so you're leveling slower. I am not saying your way doesn't work, but it's not the fastest way.
It didn't use to be, I forget exactly when but at some point they changed how smithing works so it's based off gold. It was before SE though, so it's always been like that in SE.
Gold an diamonds r near impossible to come by... otherwise i'd make jewled necklaces
As I said it's BASE damage that effects XP, nothing else. For example, that Elven dagger has a BASE damage of 8, it doesn't matter how much you actually do with it. Gold is also easy to acquire if you're using Transmute. Halted Stream camp alone has 16 Iron ore veins, with a few spare pieces laying around. That's about 40 Iron ore or so, which can all be turned into gold, and it's not Just Diamonds, almost any gem can be used, but isn't even necessary. Just Gold rings should be enough to get to Dwarven smithing.
If I'm not quite at 30 by the time have finished the hearthfire home, I'll just temper some of the horde of iron daggers I've accumulated from bandits and such. This also brings me to the other benefit of doing it this way, plentiful items to enchant to build up enchanting. All those light weight iron daggers from bandits are great enchanting fodder. Though the question becomes what about soul gems? You can either shop around for them, or loot a significant number off of the various dwarven constructs when you clear a dwemer ruin. Eventually I just enchant the tempered dwarven bows to make selling stuff to merchants quicker. So by clearing out dwemer ruins, you actually get plenty of materials to level both smithing and enchanting pretty quickly.
Provided you also have the Unofficial Patch. Ancient Knowledge does not improve smithing experience without the Unofficial Patch as it has been bugged since release and never properly fixed by Bethesda.
