Mod that stops NPCs from talking at the same time?
Is there a mod that regulates npc banter to be 1 at a time?
Annoying when 2 or 3 are talking at the same time.

there's many, and you need a mix of them to get what you want, and the more NPCs you put into the world, the more followers you have at once, the more variety of them you'll need to have any control over it. it's kind of a crap shoot, there's no universal answer.

you can also tweak the radius and attenuation for audio ducking when talking to someone so it makes it less noticeable... look up [Audio] ini configs on something like STEP...

To Your Face is very good for when you have 4+ followers and are using say AFT, where AFT helps prevent overlapping chatter from them talking over each other, but instead, sequentially... you walk by a Falmer cave entrance, and all 4, in sequence, want to comment of their fear and trepidation about what's inside. :-)

one you may like, though it's a bit jarring if you use headphones, takes the NPC dialogue and doesn't apply distance attenuation or environmental effects to it, just a voice right in your earholes, clean and crisp. works much better with speakers/surround setup, though. Thank You Death Approaches, giving it a try. Amazing that the devs did not take care of all this when originally testing the game. Hard to believe the testers weren't having the same problem.

they did, but remember how much is mods and how much is vanilla... multiple followers? increased dialogue / interaction? more NPCs? a lot of this stuff we do to ourselves. though even in vanilla it can get insane, quicktravel to a hold say Whiterun, right when the packages all trigger, say "it's morning, go to work!" and you stand in the middle of a pathway as a sea of NPCs begin their march... you'll be passed by ~24 NPCs all blathering something at you.

thank <Daedric prince / ES deity of choice> for modders who care!
