Ayleid Citadel ruins

The mod is from Lazz who has made some impressive castles and manors. In this one, the Ayleid Citadel, there is a ruins east of the main tower (to the left facing the tower) back into the cliffside. Inside is a pool, a sleeping mat, a chest and...well, nothing else.
My question is what this place is for? Seems like wasted space to me, and I'm not skilled enough to modify this mod to my liking. It's the best looking player home if you like elven themed homes. But it has it's flaws. Lots of wasted space, tons of items you can't use, and nameless guards. But I'm scratching my head about the ruins.

Any ideas? Wild guesses to this?

Don't have the mod, but it sounds like its a bathing area. The Pool for Bathing. The mat for laying down and drying and the chests to store clothes while you do so.
