It's one of these things, everyone complains about. But no one ever took the effort to fix it.

It's lame. That it's still not fixed. Not even by Bethesda.
If so...could the face sculptor 'fix' it?
That's a good one, cause if meshes collide. They either end up purple or black.
If you are using a body mod (CBBE, UNP, HIMBO, etc.) you would need to run BodyStudio to generate the meshes. If you don't, you can have this issue.
EDIT: I will add that if one is using a body mod, make sure you are using armor mods for that body type. Otherwise you could have clipping or other issues. It is still recommended to run BodyStudio to generate the meshes. If you're unsure of how to use it, there are YouTube videos on it.
