Fast Travel Disabled on Adept Difficulty survival mode unchecked

I have been playing on adept difficulty and have gotten the message 'Fast Travel is unavailable from this location'. Traveling a little away from cities and homes sometimes fixes it. Survival mode is unchecked, although it previously was, but not by me. If I turn difficulty back down to novice it works.

Any Ideas?

I only get that if I are in a dungeon or other indoor location. Playing on adept diff as well. But I never ever put the survival mode on. So there might be some boogy logic in this "creation".

Survival mode has a bug where it doesn't deactivate when you turn it off, not unless you turn it off from the launcher when starting a new game.

You seem to have hit the nail right on the head. Unchecking survival mode does not turn it off. This page: https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Survival_Mode Lists what survival mode does, and even though I have not enabled survival mode, I still experience all these effects.
