Glitch or not?

I'm doing a thieves guild character (shneeky boi) and when Mercer Frey says "Karliah, when will you learn you can't get the drop on me" everything stops, Brynjolf teleports in from of Karliah, and I never see Mercer Frey, whats wrong?

nothing's wrong. pay close attention. someone you may be trying to kill has quaffed an invisibility potion, and he's got a good supply of them, so stay on your toes...

wait.. everything stops?

so you're watching him pry the eyes off the statue and then... nothing? the ledge you all are standing on is supposed to give way and drop you down below. you're saying it's freezing right there? then yeah could be glitching.

Blindsighted has a lot of glitches (like, never chase him up to the top of the statue to kill him, he'll fall and clip into the statue, can't loot him) but I don't know this one... I'd just reload from the autosave when you entered Irkngthand Sanctuary, assuming you haven't disabled autosaves, or your nearest save.

So I fixed the problem, I had to use console commands to bring mercer frey to me, but no, I never saw him before, I think he may have fell through the ground so yeah. and the save thing didn't work, I haed reloaded a lot.
