Can't launch SKSE from MO2?
So I just started a new profile in MO2, and I can't get the game to start. I get the "Mod Organizer is locked while the application is running. SkyrimSE.exe (3764)" window, the command prompt window appears briefly for a moment, and then...just...nuffink. Nada. Nil. The only warning in the Mod Organizer warning window is about files in my Overwrite, which is just my Creation Club content. What's going on here? If it helps, though since the game won't even start I don't know how, my modlist is https://modwat.ch/u/JO1137.
Please help.

DId you properly set up SKSE for MO2 to use? Follow this guide:

I can't find my "Mod Organizer 2\mods" folder. Where would that be?

Cancel that last statement, power of the post. Working on it...

That didn't work. I followed the guide, the game still won't start: I get the flash of black command prompt, the "Mod Organizer is locked while the application is running. SkyrimSE.exe (3764)" window, and then nothing. Any other ideas?

Edit:

Have you tried using loot to sort your mods? Maybe it's a load error that crashes your game immediately without you noticing it?

Do you use OneDrive from Microsoft? Try to disable it.

Loot didn't work. How do I disable OneDrive?

Disabling OneDrive didn't work either

Hello?
richieandjane Sep 21, 2021 @ 7:58pm
FIXED IT. I had a few converted LE mods that were causing the problem, which is really weird since they've been fine in literally every other playthrough I've done, but they're just weapons so I can do without them.

Good to see that you fixed your issue.

Hello?
I was sleeping, but I'm glad that you were able to fix your issue. MO2 has a feature the can warn you if you have LE mods installed. It's the warning triangle in the right top corner.

Here is a guide on how to convert LE to SE mods. Only texture/mesh mods!!!
