Anniversary edition upgrade starting new game bug

Hi. So, I bought the Anniversary edition upgrade today, because it was on sale and i figured why not. I disabled all of my mods (because who knows what would happen) and started a new game. Unfortunately, the physics have gone wack for no discernible reason- I am stuck at the front of the carriage, inside of the imperial soldier and halfway down through the wood. I hoped i would at least be able to customize my character and try to fix the issue later, however the horses and carriages started doing backflips in front of the gate which prevented me from going further. My frame rate is capped at 60fps and I have now uninstalled all the mods, the problem still persists. I am not very tech savvy, so any help would be greatly appreciated

You don't have a recent save? After exiting the tutorial phase is a good place to save, if it hasn't done it for you. I'm experiencing bugs too. After creating and enabling creation content it doesn't show as such. Did this happen to you? At. 2.2 hours I think I can still refund. I was hoping for a relatively bug-free experience but then I remembered this is Skyrim.

Go to the guides section of these forums and find the vanilla reinstall guide.
Follow it, follow every step don't skip any because you think it isn't necessary.

I'm assumin if there is no "Script Extension Error check" setting in my 'extensions' in vortex, that means I have none and therefore can't disable them, right?
