Special Edition vs Anniversary Upgrade
Hello guys, may I know is it worth to get the anniversary upgrade?

I saw one review, it said "before I download the anniversary upgrade, my game is smooth, after i downloaded the upgrade, my game crash and most mods not working, and now i can't revert back to the special edition version"

is it that bad? the review said it literally make the game unplayable and the whole game just gone like dat

When the Anniversary Upgrade came out, it came out alongside a patch. That patch is what was causing people to have problems, not the Anniversary stuff itself, because that is what happens when a new version of the game comes out. There are issues at first, and some mods don't work until updated. If you have installed the game sometime in the last 6 months, its all the same game version now.

generally you don't want to add any mods in the middle of a playthrough (the DLCs ARE mods) but I doubt it will cause ctds if you know what you're doing.

No DLC is main quest sensitive so it should not cause any problems. Even the quest that involves the Jarl of Whiterun will simply be altered to reflect any change in the Jarl rather than fail to trigger.
