Vortex failed to set game mode for skyrim se

i have a huge issue: suddenly skyrim se is unmanaged in vortex and vortex says "failed to set game mode skyrim se" , further it says" SetupError: Missing: D:\SteamLibrary2\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data " but the data folder is there , its not missing. I am running latest version of Vortex and yesterday i switched between my skyrim se profiles.

Also i cant launch the game even from steam because it says update failed, error writing on disc.

A) Vortex can't see the folder, which means something is blocking it from seeing it.

B) Make sure that library path is correct. Did you name it SteamLibrary2? Or is the 2 a stray number?

C) If your using Vortex, it stands to reason your using SKSE? IF so, you DON'T launch from Steam. Ever.
What does it say if you launch it using the SKSE launcher?

If your not using SKSE, then, what happens if you launch the game using the SkyrimSE .EXE itself (Not the launcher)?

D) Error writing has a few causes, full disc, bad permissions, corrupt files or a bad harddrive, but need more information to say.

Could be simple registry issue. Especially Win11 seems to have those, though 10 could sometimes loose game paths as well.

You could try to validate your installation through Steam and then run vanilla launcher once outside of Vortex to setup INI path correctly.

If that doesn't solve it, then what Liquid Inc said above.
