The Elder Scrolls VI was first “officially” announced in 2018 but we were told not to expect it until after Starfield.
Shortly after Starfield released in September 2023, they confirmed that TESVI was now moving from pre-production to full development.
On the 30th anniversary of TES back in March they released a thing celebrating the series and included a a blurb about VI’s development - even claiming that they already had a working early build.
Leaked documents from BGS back in the fall/winter had TESVI slated for a 2026 release.
They have NOT revealed any details yet regarding its setting or features; however, you’ll see some gaming journalism outlets calling it things like TESVI: Hammerfell.
This is speculation and not based on any evidence beyond the 2018 announcement trailer and what they believe the generic, non-descript environment we see is.
These outlets/journalists have just committed to their predictions and are hoping they’re right so they look smart.
Keep in mind, for most of BGS’ history they usually don’t actually announce and reveal a game’s existence until it’s only less than a year from release.
Starfield broke that trend - mostly due to complications with COVID-19’s impact on work, and the series of delays that happened between 2021 and 2023.
Skyrim - for example - wasn’t officially announced/revealed until late 2010/early 2011 IIRC.
I've been helping hundreds of noobers get their Fallout 3 and New Vegas on since that show came around. Lots of interest these days. Fallout 4 has about six different large-scale mods coming up, most notably Fallout: London. That's also working for the whole franchise.
Not seeing any actual future for Elder Scrolls 6, personally.
I didn't find it all that special. It was fun and everything, but I don't play it anymore. Oblivion on the other hand, now there's a great game.
I'm playing it right now, and I'm not using efficient levelling at all. I made a custom class but it's just the stock Mage class minus Alchemy as a primary. I do use the "All +5 Attribute Modifiers" mod[www.nexusmods.com] though. I used to like things fiddly back in the day, not so much anymore.
Best Elder Scrolls game ever made.
No point, you defeated yourself. This thread is asking about TES 6. Your opinion on Morrowind is in no way related to the topic. Doesn't even qualify as an alternate solution as it says nothing about when 6 will come out.
Read and think and then you will not lose in your own created one-man butt-kicking contest.
Also there is no Skyrim 3: Morrowind. That would be The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind. Going to brag about a game, know what it is first.
I respect that view. Though this will be one you will not be assisting for Fallout as I prefer complete fantasy over alternate history that sometimes gets too close to real-life human stupidity.
(To be clear, nothing against you. Just my reasons for preferring one over the other)
There cannot be Skyrim 6 as there was no Skyrim 2, 3, 4, or 5.
This game is The Elder Scrolls 5 (V): Skyrim.
Specifically Special Edition (SE).
You are asking about The Elder Scrolls 6 (VI): (subtitle yet unknown)
Understandable as Skyrim has been so popular for so long that it does occasionally get mistaken for the series name. Though I think there are some that legitimately think there should be a sequel specifically to Skyrim itself.
You obviously don't know anything about the Skyrim series. Elder scrolls are just items in the Skyrim series noob
If it's going to be anything like their more recent games....no thanks.
