Help with Skyrim Anniversary Edition update
I foolishly updated Skyrim AE a couple of weeks ago and thought I had everything back the way it was supposed to be but now I find that after playing a short while, trying to load a saved game says the game is corrupt and will not load it.

First, let me say that my game was, and is, heavily modded and I use Vortex as my mod manager. I'm pretty sure that I got everything put back the way it was except for one thing. When I first started the updated game it loaded a whole bunch of creation club mods. I didn't think anything of it and I don't recall if loading them was optional or not and I'm suspicious that this may have something to do with my problem. Vortex doesn't give me a way to disable all the new creation club mods so I can't test my theory.

Can anyone tell me a way to disable all these creation club mods?

I'm also using an old game save with the AE update. I haven't had any problems. The save is an unpatched vanilla one from 2017 so the creation club mods aren't the problem.
I modded the game then loaded that save, so the CC content is playing nicely with the mods.

The only oddity I've seen is that I get 'nix hound found something' messages even though I didn't buy it, just sold something to the merchant. Didn't even ask about it.

I've been able to load corrupt saves in the past by loading a good save, then loading the one giving the corrupt message. I don't use Vortex so I don't now if you're getting the message from Vortex or the game.

Try loading the save from the game menu on Steam. "Corrupt" if it's a Vortex message could mean it's just missing mods.

As far as I know, the CC content can't be disabled - I've gotten error messages from Wrye Bash in the past.
