hello just had a question about a problem im facing i recently reinstalled skyrim and vortex mods and i recently installed a couple mods like follower mods and that sort of stuff but i find that when i go to the locations to find the followers it seems like none of my mods are working like nothing appers when i look at the location of where the followers are supposed to be at but no one is there and i do run loot newest version of it to make sure my mod list is organised but my other mod i have is called Amazing Follower Tweaks SE mod and that dose not seem to be working cause it dose not give me any options in the power section in the game also if anybody can help me please reply to this thanks.

1. How are you launching the game? Are you using the Play button or are you launching the game with SKSE64 Launcher? Depending on the mods used, if you use the Steam Launcher, mods may be disabled.
Additionally, if you are using SSE Engine Fixes and have not edited the TOML file, your mods may be disabled. See the following guide for information.

2. Some follower mods are setup so the NPC uses a typical pattern (home at night, market by day, at the inn around dinner time). Read the follower mod description to confirm.

3. Amazing Follower Tweaks has not been updated for some time, and has been known to be problematic. It is recommended to use Nether's Follower Framework as this is currently supported.

im lauching the game with SKSE64 launcher

if your using MO2 as your mod manager launch it from MO2 not steam or your not going to have mods. it uses a virtual folder and doesnt muck with skyrims data directory. i think Vortex is similar but i got no experience with it myself. as far as I know its only the old defunct mod managers like NMM that directly messed with the game or mods from bethesda.net or steam workshop(not relavent to SE but whatever)

so try launching via the manager

also make sure there actuall installed and enabled. you might just have installed and not actually enabled them you should have a little box beside the mod you can click on and off and if your using MO2 a second one in the plugin section on the right you have to click after install.

like i loaded up the game and my mod for skyui is working but im considering for my custom mods for my follower is it possible they wont load in because they could be out of date bu tbh i also don't know what is MO2 is

mod organizer 2. if you dont know what it is im going to guess your using vortex. if you arent using either one well your really really should be.

either way if skyUI works thats a start. go to your mod manager and go to the load order see if your follower mods are grayed out or have a toggle bot not clicked that skyUI does.

what custom follower are you using if Deagon or something with a dozen expediencies might want to try something easier.

nah Vortex and MO2 do the same thing some people will swear ones better but its all just what your used to using and Vortex is a lot more modern of a design than MO2 interface wise your probably best sticking to it if its what you've got already. the community is split about half and half between the 2 so someone should help. either way you should post the mods your having issues with makes it easier to troubleshoot.

go ask in the Coffee house thread as well most of the people there have more experience than I do with either manager

what type of follower do you want?

my go to ones are Lucian and song of the green but theres about a dozen dcent ones more if you just want eye candy with out quests and custom voice acting

sorry in advanced if i messed up some links and well this isnt all the follower mods its most of them i've avoided any mods that are just eyecandy followers thats use base game voices and AI voices as much as a could either way im sure at least one of these will work for you
