This happens when you have a version mismatch from the game SKSE and the mods that rely on it.

What version is your Skyrim? What version SKSE are you using? Do you have Address Library as it's also required?

Hello,

Yeah, this is what I heard about that.
My current game version: 1.6.1170.0.8
SKSE version: 2.2.6
And I have the last Adress library downloaded from Nexus mod, for the AE version.

AS said probably a mod skse version mismatch did you update Skyrim recently and update your skse and mods?

What was the last time it worked and what time we're talking about?

For each elements, it's up to date, yep. The last time I played a modded Skyrim and an ENB (my favourite use ENB helper) was in march

This points to an unwanted legacy file hiding in those individual mods you listed then. Your best bet is to remove those mods completely and do a clean re-install of those mods as finding the individual file could be tricky. Make sure you back up your saves first.

If you can identify the individual files causing this it would be preferable to delete those only.

What I can confirm is that ENB Helper does work fine with the latest versions.

Another thing thing when you updated skse did you delete the previous dll file (it has 1 dll file that has a version number in it only 1 of those can exists)

You have Engine fixes, and manually installed it's second part into the Skyrim game folder?

hmmm..., Uninstall the 3 problem mods, deploy, then re-install 1 + deploy it, then the next and deploy and then the next. (Do Address Library first, then MCM Helper, then ENB Helper)

Also check your Plugins tab to make sure Vortex actually enabled the plugins. Sometimes it has a habit of not enabling a plugin when installed and enabled in the Mods tab...(Usually it's Racemenu and others with multiple plugins, but it's not exclusively those)

I can't see anything wrong with the file versions. May i ask where the game is installed? If it's in Program Files, that could be the sole cause.

I tried Engine Fixes, Installed the first part with MO2, then the second part on my game folder. But I had the "trampoline" error.
MCMHelper is crossed out when I activate it

Ahh, MO2.

I found this from a user called Trademark, who also suffered with the "trampoline" error with Engine Fixes. It appears it wasn't working because their game wasn't creating and using the right folder for the .ini files.

If it's not putting the .ini's in the right place, then that really would mess up your mods. MCMHelper and Address Library put their .ini's in a similar place, which is possibly why they're failing to load.

For anybody having error "SKSE/Trampoline.h(187): Failed to handle allocation request" the following information could be relevant.

Short answer/fix:
1. In your "My Games" folder, create a folder called "Skyrim.INI"
2. Open the "Skyrim.INI" folder and create a folder called "SKSE"
3. Launch the game with SKSE enabled

---

Detailed answer:
First, refer to https://github.com/ModOrganizer2/modorganizer/issues/2006

It looks like some AE 1.6 SKSE plugins are erroneously trying to output their logfile to "My Games/Skyrim.INI/SKSE" instead of "My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE". Every single AE 1.6 plugin that exhibits this behavior fails to load for me. Examples include SSE Engine Fixes, Media Keys Fix SKSE, Camera Persistence Fixes and others. Their SE 1.5 variants do not exhibit this behavior.

I initially blamed my own setup for this, because I'm doing some folder redirection magic (e.g. my "Documents" folder is redirected to H:\, which is backed by a UNC path) and a Remote-to-Local symbolic link. I eliminated both of these factors and ran another test. I then noticed that the "Skyrim.INI" was being created automatically and that the game+plugins would launch just fine.

So my conclusion was that the plugins were unable to create the "Skyrim.INI" folder, causing them to not load. Manually creating the folder solved it. *

I already have a Skyrim.ini in "My games" folder

Liquid Inc Jun 26, 2024 @ 5:21am
And it has a SKSE folder within, with (if you have the mods) .ini files inside that SKSE folder?

There will also be another SKSE folder within the Skyrim Special Edition folder directly above this one in My Games, which will be where MCMHelper's .ini should be.
