ATTN: MOD LOAD ORDER IS IMPORTANT!!!
LOAD ORDER IS IMPORTANT!!!

The four following screenshots are the same two screenshots, taken 24 hours apart. Nothing in my load order has changed, except that I added an ENB (re-engaged) - *and properly sorted my load order!*

[edited to add the following comment: "IN FACT - the "before" screenshots are from ONLY USING AUTOSORT and not paying attention to author descriptions and guide author notes on overriding autosort!"]

Before proper sorting:

AFTER proper sorting:

And again, AFTER proper sorting:

Did you run TexGen and DynDOLOD or just LODGen? Curious as I have not tested them on AE yet.

I would recommend remaining consistent when it comes to comparisons.

That's the amazing thing - neither!

As I stated earlier in another thread, (before I went to sleep lol):

This is due to a game-wide few texture mods that required either lodgen *or* had prepared lods it would install *for you*. As well as the following two LOD mods:

All of the mods in the screenshots were the same between screenshots, the *only* difference is indeed load order, and re-engaged enb.

I followed Vlad's guide, only needing to avoid FISS and the Address Library. This is also SAE (upgraded).

Yes, those two mods are of course key. And yes load order always matters. Great Job PDG. And thank you for following through.

I'm going to use this thread as a reference for other inquiring about modding PDG.

Load order can't be that different. And the guide does in fact use Re Engaged ENB

What I mean by this, is that I didn't want people thinking the two different screenshots used any additional mods to achieve this look, and that load order, and sorting correctly, made all the difference (plus re-engaged enb is so pretty). I added no mods at all to the better looking screenshots.

ok because load order IS important - I stress that in the guide.

now the guide is setup for Vortex in the sense that I give specific details on load order for any mod that needs notes regarding set mod A to load before or after Mod B, C, D and so on, as per the Vortex "Rules" system.

And again, the guide uses Re Engaged - that's my go to ENB especially for a weather controlled mod like Obsidian.

Indeed. The post's information is exactly what anyone inquiring about modding the update needs.

Use Vortex.. click the auto sort button.. it's been 5 years since the special edition. The program knows the proper load orders.

There are things that it gets wrong - as with all automatic programs - so a person still needs to manually check things.

I should point out I used MO2 for this guide, and had to sort the left side to match the right - however Vlad's NOTES ON OVERRIDES TO AUTOSORT ARE IMPORTANT and are what saved me in the end.
