Assuming you're using the Preliminary AE build one, mods that require plugin manager such as race menu is not working right now.

Copied from skse site:
This is a preliminary build of SKSE64 with support for Skyrim SE 1.6.318, aka the Anniversary Edition. All of the hooks tested as working, the Papyrus extensions seem to be OKish but I don't have complete test coverage. At the very least you can keep using Todd's favorite mod (SkyUI) without problems. The primary feature that is missing is the plugin manager, which is currently disabled until I can rewrite the system that handles plugin compatibility checks.

New to the discussion? Lol. Skyrim's Anniversary Update isn't compatible with the old SKSE. Bethesda gave their team early access so they could hopefully get SKSE ready for the Anniversary Edtion. However, they have a ton of changes and adjustments to make. That's a lot of coding for them to do. They manged to get a preliminary release up which, from what I've seen on my game, got SkyUI to work (or so it appears). Most mods that need SKSE still don't work however.

I have no ETA on an update for SKSE that will get it fully up and running again. I've heard people say a few days or end of the week. Others have said it may take a week or two. I think the SKSE team releases some announcements on reddit, maybe.

They are working hard on fixing it, for free mind you. All I can say is give them some time. Last I checked, they were still working hard on it.

I did experience some problems with the unofficial skyrim patch for special edition... I'm not sure if it's adapted yet to the newest upgrade with the free stuff in it?

It is, and in true to USSEP the old version was removed, but fortunately Nexus has an archive version.

I am using SkyUI and Racemenu with zero issues.

That always drove me crazy. I am happy Nexus archived the older version. I was neutral In the mod makers/nexus feud but this makes me think Nexus is more right

Far enough... Just have to make sure you have the correct SKSE installed.

Last time i played Skyrim SE was in August 2017, so does the new SKSE for SAE work with all the "older"physics mods or Dual Wield etc.? Texture packs should be no problem i guess.
