good mod lists?

my main problem with skyrim is that its kinda boring and the graphics are definitely pretty dated, so im wondering what mods you guys recommend

Well tbh if you find the game boring ok, but I don't think mods will solve the problem (at least not entirely)

True the combat in Vanilla Skyrim is boring. Which is why there are mods. But unless you can downgrade to game version 1.5.97 you wont be able to make the combat be fast and hack'n'slash like AC or Souls combat like Sekiro/ER/Nioh/WoLong etc. With mods, Skyrim becomes limitless...or more specifically modded Skyrim used to be limitless before December 2023.

No mods are not dead. Modders just wont bother to update for the lastest game version because Bethesda will ruin all that again with another update making their work pointless.

But if you want the game to look like a AAA title from 2024 with insane visual fidelity and all that, sure you can. Even most of the movement animation mods work just fine so your running, walking, sprinting, 1st person camera etc. will feel like a recent game. But if I wanted for instance to turn Skyrim combat into Sekiro combat...that is going to be a problem.

I can recommend a good mod its called pirate island and it adds a new pirate and some new armors and for obliivion i can recommend you abecean pirates it adds a new joinable faction headquartered near anvil

when i tried it abecean pirates spent five quest making me gather herbs before the questline broke and i could advance it or do any cool pirate ♥♥♥♥. would not recommend
