My Prediction for the future of Tamriel
Originally I made a different prediction, but now I have a more realistic prediction. Here is my prediction:

4E 201: Skyrim takes place (duh)
13th of Sun's Dusk, 4E 204: The Thalmor send a threat to attack cyrodill.
18th of Sun's Dusk, 4E 204: The empire tries to bribe the thalmor.
20th of Sun's Dusk, 4E 204: The thalmor deny and attack bravil, and succeed at the night.
Evening Star, 4E 204: The thalmor now have troops all around cyrodill.
2nd of Sun's Dawn, 4E 205: The city of Layawin falls to the thalmor.
27th of Sun's Dawn, 4E 205: The city of Anvil falls to the thalmor.
4E 205 (unknown exactly when): The city of Kvatch Falls to the thalmor.
4E 205 (unknown exactly when): The city of Skingrad falls to the thalmor.
First Seed, 4E 206: The city of Cheydinhall falls to the thalmor
15th of Rain's Hand, 4E 206: The thalmor learn from their mistakes, and this time use daedra to destroy the imperial city, and also use many other war mechanism's such as encirclement, strong catapults and strong warriors. They sucessfully take the city, however, the highest ranking people in the imperial city move to daggerfall or solitude.
Sun's Height, 4E 206: The empire stabilizes and moves most of their troops to defend chorrol and bruma.
First Seed, 4E 207: The thalmor sucessfully invade daggerfall, and put thousands of troops into high rock.
First Seed-Midyear, 4E 207: Sometime in this time, Camlorn, Shornhelm and Northpoint get taken by the thalmor
First Seed-Midyear, 4E 207: Solitude gets attacked, causing most of skyrim to be destroyed besides whiterun and falkreath.
Second Seed, 4E 207: The city of Kvatch becomes a part of the empire again, after not a lot of thalmor being in cyrodill anymore.
10th of midyear, 4E 207: Start of TES VI and the thalmor attempt to invade hammerfell
The player saves mundus, as the thalmor are trying to reverse the universe. None knows where this person came from.

BONUS! Extension after the the last elder scrolls game:

The 5th era starts, where none has a empire that controls half of tamriel, and most areas are small kingdoms. The world rebuilds after the destruction of the second great war.

Strongest places:
5. Daggerfall union (controls Daggerfall, Camlorn, Shornhelm, Northpoint and Wayrest.)
4. Colovia ( Western Half of Cyrodill)
3. Skyrim
2. Hammerfell
1. Argonia

Bonus 2:

5E 12: The Daggerfall Union Collapses.
5E 17: Argonia invades morrowind again, and now controls most of morrowind. Skyrim also joined the war, and invaded the redoran area, and vvardenfell.
5E 23 and 5E 24: Skyrim invades eastern high rock, and becomes the Nordic empire.
5E 21- 5E 41: Colovia rebuilds the ruins, and now is thriving.
5E 36: The short lived Nordic empire collapses as all of morrowind (besides solsteim) gets independence, and so does the high rock kingdoms.
5E 43: An alliance is formed between colovia and skyrim.
5E 50: Hammerfell gets into a civil war, as the forebears get independence.

Nah the Numidium pops back in from outside time like Alduin completly destroys nirn leaving only some moon colonies set up by the khjitte and Dunmer left.

than the numidum goes to the moon and has a anime mecha fight with the Nevernirine for the fate of creation.

the CODA is wild

What will really happen: By clever use of quick save/quick load, set up with gear treated with a certain infamous fortify restoration-technique, the Dragonborn kills all the Thalmor by themselves while asking the rest of the army to "wait here".

There is a famous quote of a German Chancelor which roughly translates:
"Anyone who has visions should go to the doctor,"

The future of Tamriel is what one can find in Aether Suite.

We'll learn what it is once the game is released. Until then, any prediction is mere speculation. As a general rule, speculation has nothing backing it up.

Nah ... everybody's guess is as good as mine. We're probably thrown forward in time another 200 years or more. That makes it easier for the devs to create new lore after the events in Skyrim and start a completely different story, not having to depend on the events of a few years before, and certainly not during a time periode from 4E204 - 4E207. Forget the bonusses or we will be waiting for TES6 till 2050, or I won't be able to play that game anymore (or modding it, or creating mods for it).

They need to invent a reason the DB isn't around anymore. If this is gonna take place a few years later, they cannot be alive. Every game aside from the first one can explain why you don't see the previous character in the next game.

Honestly the Eternal Champion should have been a character in Oblivion given his connection to the Emperor.
Needs more Lusty Argonian Maids.

That would be difficult. The Dragonborn has defeated Alduin and Miraak. They have the dragon blood and principally can live for hundreds or thousands of years, unless their soul is absorbed. That's what happened to Miraak when all the souls he "stole" were absorbed by the Dragonborn (did the Dragonborn also absorb Miraak's soul"). So, they would have to come up with a good story why the Dragonborn is not in TES6. Dragons have returned, not only in Skyrim, but all over Tamriel. Why shouldn't they be around 200 or more years later?

the Nevernerine was an immortal god killer and they wrote him out with a throwaway line about going to Akivar. no reason they cant do the same to the DB
