Help request with MO2 and _ResourcePack.esl [Solved]
_ResourcePack.esl disables in the plugins list after every game run (not after tool or launcher run).
I installed a new MO2 v2.5.1rc2 (portable) and pointed it to the game folder (1.6.1179), no mods installed. It detects everything fine, but _ResourcePack.esl still disables after game launch.

It happens if the plugin is unmanaged (data folder) or transferred into MO2 as a mod.
I wonder why this is. It is a constant nuisance to re-enable it before every run of the game. No other plugins disable on their own.

Also, I reinstalled the game using the verify integrity option in the GOG offline installer.

You want to keep it disabled anyway, the thing changes the meshes for various game objects that should not have any or should be invisible, causing issues like random rocks, boulders and bits of terrain showing up everywhere.

Thanks for the information. I noticed there was a user who posted a mod to fix stuff in the resource pack. The plugin is required for two mods I like, but they are not essential.

That plugin is a problem. It works a bit differently. Game should ad it to CCC, when it runs. That doesn't help with plugins relying on it.

Thanks for the reply. What does CCC stand for? Do you know where I can read more on its difference to other plugins?

CCC is the Creations listing file for the game. Skyrim should include _ResourcePack.esl to listing, when game runs.

I tried to search through MO2 developer Discord, but didn't see any new references for this file. It haven't caused issues to me so far. I think I'll need to poke one of devs about it.

That is interesting. I opened skyrim.ccc and added _ResourcePack.esl on a new line at the bottom. It was not there before on its own. Now the plugin stays enabled in MO2 after game closes.

Okay. There was he hick-up here it seems. Game should have done that, because *It Just Works!"

That's one overused meme, but valid for the occasion.

If adding the line manually solves the problem, then that is as good fix as any.
