[HELP] Modded skyrim crashes on start up
I have a heavely modded game and it crashes on start up I just got shadowrend, ruins edge and the staff of sheagorath from the creation club so I can get saints and seducers extended cut. As far as I can tell it may be caused by lux and shadowrend but I am not sure could someone help? This a part from my crash log: Skyrim SSE v1.6.1170

This is not much to pinpoint the culprit. It could be a reference in Lux conflicting with a reference in another mod, or a reference in another mod conflicting with a reference in Lux.
Do not publish your complete crashlog, but see the section "About Crashlogs" in my guide:

to remove lines that contain useless information for most of your audience, or just post your complete crashlog on Pastebin, GoogleDocs, or anywhere else.

I did take a look I sorted the shadowrend error the game launched when I hit play it was saying ahz morehud was missing fixed that I think but it started crashing again and lux is the problem again and when I sort the order via vortex it's stuck loading the main menu and when I use loot to sort I get CTD I have a simplified log of the crash but I can only figure out lux is the problem but not why. Here is thee full log from crashLogger and a simplified version.

Start by checking compatibility of your SKSE DLL plugins against this page[modding.wiki]. Also load your complete load order in SSEEdit and find wilderness cells 0004F839 and FF000F6D by using the Form ID filter. The first cell refers to the East Empire Company cell at the Solitude docks. The second one refers to a sound descriptor which has been changed (AMBrFrogsReachNight01RadLP [SOUN:000D4048]). The first two characters (FF) refer to a change you may have created yourself.

you're gunna have to turn them all off and then on, one by one

its the only way to be certain

however heres a note, one time at band camp i played a strict legit vanilla skyrim no mods no cheats legendary difficulty and eventually my game started crashing every time i got near frostcrag spire.. there was something in that cell in the default game after 100+ days in the game that made it crash and i never figured out why or what.. i started a new game

hey maybe start a new game just to see and check if it crashes then!!

I will try although last time I quit the game I was in witherun just gotten out of the banned mare maybe something freaked out on those cells it happened after I installed creation content and to do that I had to purge mods via the vortex option and after that I deleted and reinstalled Bella voiceover for dbvo maybe that's the issue with the sound.

On a quick look at your mod list, I see some Lux Via and Lux Orbis patches, but I don't see any Lux patches for some of the city overhauls and outskirts mods.

For example - You have COTN - Dawnstar. I do not see the file:
"Lux - COTN Dawnstar patch.esp" or "Lux - Ryn's Whiterun City Limits patch.esp."

For the number of building and city overhauls you have, there should be a pile of Lux patches at the bottom of the load order.

If you are using the latest Lux suite of mods, please note that the mod author has placed all patches in a separate mod instead of the main mod.

I'm using the unofficial lux patchhub

No disrespect to Skurkbro but, that mod is very outdated. Most of the mods you are using are not included.

EDIT: I used to use the Unofficial Lux patches as well. I have since updated the main mods and switched to the Official patch hub mods. Here are the others. These are fairly hot off the presses:

I will switch to the one you said to see if it launches

The switch I made was just a couple of weeks ago. I was a bit Leary to switch due to the multiple interactions with other mods. I did start a new character as well just in case.

Okay, taking a more in depth look at the error and the timing of the failure. Some of your posts indicate that you have been working on this mod list for a while. Was the game loading fine and recently started to fail?

NVM, you answered that with Albert.

Okay, how about performing a file verification?
