Turning off auto-save within the in-game menu should help with load door issues, just be sure to remember to make saves often as you go. When I was using a 1660 I could start the game on ultra setting but getting into the 40s and 50s I would have to lower the graphic settings some. 4gigs or vram does not go far on a modded skyrim.
You can also try to set the quality down to low and lower the resolution to see if the problem goes away.
I fixed it.
As much as it pains me to say, the solution was to turn my PC off and on again...
