very small text / font size on high res widescreen...help?

I've recently gotten a new pc with an Nvidia a high def monitor. Here are the specs
OMEN by HP 25L Gaming Destop GT15-2xxx
Monitor: Samsung 27"
resolution 3840 x 2160
aspect ratio 16:9 widescreen
Graphics Card: NVidia Graphics RTX 4060 TI
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700F 2.10 GHz

This is a huge upgrade over my previous PC, however now all the fonts in my games (skyrim, Fallout 4, etc) are all super small and can barely be read. How can I increase the font sizes without dialing down the screen resolution (and thus losing the quality gains I got with the upgrade)?

There is no perfect method that I have found.
Look in your skyrim.ini file and change text size to 30 or something the default is 20.

With windows display you can try increasing scaling if you are running a higher screen resolution too.
