Any mod fix to dead bodies "T-posing"/standing after death
Have had this issue for the longest time, cant find what keywords to search for it. I know what causes it though, using ordinator atm running a destruction magic build, and some of the perks cause enemies to ragdoll. If i happen to kill an enemy while ragdolled and they're just entering the standup animation, they usually start walking in place or standing after death. In further past experience, having corpses do this usually leads to a CTD, so I always end up reloading an earlier save when this happens to avoid that. Any known fix for this?

Do you use nemesis? try rerunning it?

You can also use Pandora Behavior Engine.

I don't use Ordinator but I see the same t-posing at times. There'll be a bandit t-posed and sliding around instead of moving normally.
NPCs will attack it and sometimes it won't even die. If it does die, sometimes I can loot it, other times I can't and can walk right through the t-posed body.
I see horses freeze up at times too, and the rider will just dismount and walk off. I finally decided to accept that it's a feature, not a bug. I'm still using FNIS.

Difficult to say. It could be some mod conflict. FNIS and Nemesis haven't been updated since long, so you might try Pandora. If neither FNIS, Nemesis or Pandora don't give results, you may have a mod conflict or a load order issue. Other possibilities to check for conflicts are SSEEdit and Wrye Bash. As for Wrye Bash use the latest version, open the Installers tab and check all installed archives for conflicts. If the small box in front of the archive name has a green background with a + in it, there are no conflicts. If the box is orange, there is a mismatch of ESL/ESM/ESP, which probably means the header is of the wrong version. If the box is yellow, there is a conflict with another mod, but the mod lower in load order is the conflict winner. If the box is red, there is a major conflict. May publish your LOOT load order, and maybe someone may notice the culprit.

Could be. I am using Pandora since its release, and it serves me well. but there can always be something else causing the issue. Modding your game is not plug-and-play!

With the proper tools you can at least decrease the fixing time or even prevent issues to happen. Easy to say for me as I'm very selective in choosing the mods I want to install.

Thanks. It doesn't happen very often. I am using a few mods with old form version headers though. Haven't had any CTDs several hours in on an old save. The save doesn't include any of the old bugged quests since I haven't started any of the guild questlines that were bugged, except Dawnguard, but that hasn't progressed beyond Bloodline.

I'm not sure if the completed Meridia quest was bugged or it's a save in which she didn't get drunk and drop me to my death.
There are a few red boxes, but those are installers for the mods I cleaned. Everything else is green. The NPCs and horses that do freeze up at times are from mods.

I did have a problem with chickens not moving. Normally that's caused by FNIS Creature Pack but it wasn't installed, and the 'De-install' button was greyed out.
So I installed it, didn't make a difference, then uninstalled it.
The chickens starting moving the next time I loaded the game.

I only recently installed the AE update. I uninstalled all mods, then manually deleted old mod files with Win Explorer, deleted the scripts sub-directory and everything in SKSE except some save data for another mod. Wrye Bash doesn't always do a complete uninstall, sometimes leaving behind the esps of the installed mods.
