Manual texture modding
Hey guys old skyrim LE modder here. I've come back to skyrim but this time the SE version.
On oldrim if i wanted to replace a texture, i had to use a bsa extractor on the skyrim texture bsa so it created a folder called textures in the main game directory.
Is this the same case for SE skyrim?

I ask this because there are multiple texture bsa's and i don't know if i need to extract all of them or just a specific one.

Any help is appreciated ty.

You can extract just a specific one. No need to extract all texture BSA files. Personally I prefer to use BAE (Bethesda Archive Extractor).

BTW... Armonizer is an LL port that only includes textures and meshes and the files are already loose. If they're not appearing in game you forgot to merge your leveled lists. Distribution for this mod is old school. Strictly level lists. . There's nothing here to extract anyway. You simply need to load it low, and create a bash patch

That's not clear in this thread. That might have been clear if anyone posting in the OFCH would have posted here! OP asked a simple question and I responded with a simple answer!

So did I... in the OF. Feel free to repost/quote if it bothers you Altbert.

I did, but should have done it earlier! But, I'm not going to quote the posts here.
