I've been using MO2 for a few years and I don't think you can make right pane separators. Moreover, right pane separators wouldn't be all that useful because optimal right-pane plugin load order frequently doesn't group by category/subject anyway.

Follow this link and then scroll down a tiny bit to where it says "ModGroup Separators"

that is for the *left* pane. OP is asking for having something similar for the right panel.
ShatteredSoldier's asnwer is the right one.

@OP (if you're still around...) it is a MO2 "plugin" ("extension" is imo better worded) and not offered by default. You have to manually download the files it and add to MO2's plugins list.

Right. My bad.
Why would someone want that?
same reason you want it on the left pane, organizational categories. BPM is an excellent tool just for the ability of taking in LOOT overrides and honoring them, but I can see the need especially when you have 3 layers of order, your priority/extraction for creating the VFS, the load order, and the various overwrite-created "fakemods" that, after you accumulate more than 2, will be subject to either recreating or performing load order shifting as necessary... and that's without testing, which is where it'd be most helpful... fixing a persistent LO craziness, or multiple texture replacers that each partially overwrite textures from each other that you want parts of, without merging into your own mod or wyrebashing together, etc. (load order categorizing probably matters more to those with 30-60 pages of mods than the person with 1-2 pages, I'd guess.)

while the topic is active again, should point out there's a few repositories for MO2 extensions/plugins... you might find something you didn't know you couldn't live without before, give em a shot... I'll link the MO master list one for ease of clicking: https://github.com/ModOrganizer2/modorganizer/wiki/List-of-MO2-Extension-Plugins
Same here
I have the plugin but I don't know how to create a separator on the right side

Not possible also not desirable. Loot would sort your mods but if you start blocking the mods with separators it will break your load order and likely your game. A separator in MO2 is just another mod entry but without any data inside of it. If you really want one in your loadorder list (right pane) you could create a dummy file (esp flagged as esl) and use it as a separator by means of loot loading rules but I would not recommend it.

Oh lord the wrong information people can give you. Yes you can create separators in the right pane right click a mod and select create group. Do this if you want to make a organized modlist very usefull. Do not listen to people like the guy I qouted above they're talking from their behinds. If you really want to get into modding I recommend wabbajack there's so skeleton frameworks out there that provide a good framework of mods such as visuals only where you can build ontop off. It will also show you how and what you can do with separators and load orders.
