Help with DMCO pls!

Okay, long story short, before the AE update, I went with this guide: https://modding-guild.com/guide/valhalla-combat-guide/ (Somewhat outdated i know, i got the mods from the oficial page: https://www.distaranimation.com/mods/dodge) And now i wanted to come back to Skyrim with mostly the same mods, while i did get most of the combat "overhaul" to work, I cant for the life of me to get DMCO to "properly" work; with this i mean the part that you can cancel attacks with the dodge.
Can any wizard of the moddding comunity tell me what im missing?
(Also im using it in Linux, so that might be a problem?)
