mod to fix mouse cursor moving off of game

My mouse moves off of the game to my second monitor and messes with my programs on it. It doesn't click out of the game or on the programs, but it can highlight stuff and scroll things.

Not sure if this is normal behaviour, but I do not see it happening with my game. So I do not have the perfect answer to your problem, but there are a few things you can try.

In Windows, go to:
"Settings" -> "Accessibility" -> "Mouse pointer and touch" -> "Related settings / Mouse"

There deselect "Scroll inactive windows when hovering over them" (set it to Off).

If this does not work, Windows 10 might have the option hidden away under some slightly different name, then try running the game in windowed-mode and in fullscreen-mode to see if this makes a difference. In windowed-mode try running it as top-most window.

In addition, if this does not work, check that you do not have the "focus on hover"-option enabled. Open your Control Panel in Windows and search for:

"Control Panel" -> "Ease of Access" -> "Ease of Access Centre" -> "Make the mouse easier to use"

There you will find a setting called "Make it easier to manage windows" -> "Activate window by hovering over it with the mouse". Turn it off if it is on.

And make sure you don't have a controller plugged in as that can sometimes cause the very issue your are posting about.
