Mod Followers Bug (help??)
I've been looking high and low for a solution, but none of the normal tricks work, and as far as I can tell, no one else has had this specific issue.

The followers in question are: Inigo, Lucien, and Kaidan.
I've been having this recurring issue where, after having them sandbox around my house while I put all my stuff away, rest and eat (survival mod), when I go to add them all back into my team, but one or two of them will enter this weird following-but-not-following state. They sandbox like I have them waiting, but once I get far enough away (fairly far) they'll start slowly walking after me. The options to have them follow/unfollow me work normally, but they'll keep doing this regardless of which state they're in. I've managed to fix it twice by reloading and having them join me in a different order than I did before (ei, if I grabbed Kaidan, Lucien, then Inigo, next time I might grab them Lucien, Inigo, then Kaidan). They also won't properly fast travel with me, I assume because they're usually very far behind me.

I've tried all kinds of console commands and solutions, but I can't seem to get anything to work without reloading to before the bug triggers.
Any kind of advice would be helpful!

A couple of questions:
1. Are you using their built-in follower management system, or did you import them into a follower manager mod like AFT, EFF, or NFF?

2. Which player home are you referring to?
EDIT: Ignore this question. It was in reference to possible navmesh issue, but you spoke of following at distance and fast traveling.

Also, it would not be recommended to use console commands on custom third-party follower mods as it may have damaging effects on the follower. Reloading a save is the best option.

No, I'm just using their built in system I think. Honestly can't remember if I downloaded a follower management mod, but I don't think I did.

Also, for some reason, ever since I've posted this, I haven't experienced the issue again?? Maybe something about what I'm doing is working? All I'm really doing is just saving a lot. I'm honestly completely lost on what is going on with that XD

It sometimes works that way. Hopefully it continues to work for you!
