Very Bright Blob effect on some spells when casting and while waiting in idle in 1st person
Hey guys, having problem with some of my spells are having blob of bright light effect instead of their normal effects here's the picture:

https://ibb.co/KXbLBkY

Anyone knows what might be causing it? Cause I couldn't find it. I tried asking help on various discords with no help, trying my luck here.

Here's my load order:

https://pastebin.com/8NpS2R2T

and Modlist:

https://pastebin.com/redVAsh7

Tried disabling bunch of mods that might cause this, like ENB light, Particle patch for ENB and Lux but no luck sadly, really can use some help.

1. Did that behavior start to occur out of nowhere? Or did you do something?
2. Try disabling ENB
3. Try to roll back to a previous video driver version.
4. Disable LUX and its submods completely, then turn them back on, one by one.

Also, did you sort your files? There should be a summary afterwards. Does it say anything about conflicts or missing files?

1. I encountered this when I started playing a mage playthrough, didn't knew when did it start sadly.
2. Disabling ENB does reduce a bloom of the frenzy spell a bit, but there's still problem with the soul trap spell. Light blobs are still there.
3. NVIDIA released a new version, will try that. If not will try rolling back, but I'm not sure driver is the problem because not all of these spells have these, for example EmberXD flames spell does not have this problem.
4. Disabled Lux and all its submods completely and started a new game the problem was still happening sadly, so no Lux related :/

Did you sort the files? Were there any error messages in the summary?

That is interesting. The issue might be a mod higher in the load order.

By the way, do you have XEdit? Do you know how to use it?

Also, reinstall Mysticism.

Oh, and try disabling defaultCubemapFix.esp

Sorry, I did sort was going to paste the errors to you but totally forgot it xD Here's what it says on LOOT page when I use "Sort" on MO2:

I have XEdit, don't have much knowledge but I did tried looking on these 2 spells, couldn't understand much though because there were no references overwriting these spells, if you have good knowledge of xEdit, would you mind adding me as friend and helping me with it? I also tried reinstalling Mysticism, no luck.

What's that about SKSE and engine fixes? Check if it's installed correctly. ENBhelper also seems to be missing prerequisites.

My laptop went bust, so I cannot guide you through Xedit.
As far as I remember, you need to look at the visual effects group.

ENBHelper can't find ENB because I use a Wabbajack modlist template called Skyrim Modding Essentials, which has a unique setup for ENB's, it has no problems though, same for other errors, for example it says I don't have SKSE but I do. Will check visual effects group. Thanks!

Don't mix mod lists with manually installed mods. It's bound to produce strange errors like this one. Especially with wabbajack and especially if you have no idea what you are doing.

Remove that wabbajack crap and install the essentials properly.

This modlist is a base for modlist, which only have essential fixes/frameworks. Thats it.

That's the worst possible combination, though. First, using a modlist as a base for another modlist, then using a modlist to install essentials, and finally, combining wabbajack and a mod manager.

Those lists may be fine if you use them for a limited and clearly defined purpose (ex. combining all NPC overhauls from a single author). Otherwise, it's going to be a troubleshooting nightmare if something goes wrong.

No no, I just installed modlist which only contains essentials for Skyrim, then I just modded myself, there's no 2nd modlist on top of a modlist.

It's still a bad idea to install essentials like SKSE and its plugins through a modlist. Technical stuff like that should be installed properly.

First, though, check for conflicts within the visual effects group with XEdit.

I too would suggest installing manually those "essential" SKSE things, SKSE itself, Engine Fixes, Address Library, etc. directly in the Data\SKSE\Plugins tree, not through a mod manager, as you say they're essential, at least you're not using that Vortex frustration... they're essential, no matter what mod profile you're working on, you'll always want them.

Does it happen everywhere? does the bloom change as the spell travels? Do enemy casters blow out when tossing at you or your followers too? I mean, how universal is this? it could be one of your volumetrics mods, as it travels through it gets over-accentuated or blown out...

I don't know the magic mods in that list, but logic says start disabling those first, even ones that don't seem related to spells...

you seem technical enough, you'll figure it out. Eventually. :-)
