Just use the COC QASMOKE command in the console, and get whatever you want from all the cheat chests there.
Done....
Sure, it disables achievements if you've got no mods, but, achievements mean less than nothing when your cheating them anyway.......
If you are on AE, there are a few simple starter mods in Creation Club (CC), that I can recommend:
* Player Horse (adds a free black horse with saddle, at Riverwood, behind the inn)
* Player Starter Chest (adds a chest with some basic weapons and armor and some potions, as a free chest behind the wall (adjacent to river) next to the signpost before Riverwood gate)
* Warren Werebear (adds a cute werebear companion on the little island near the Guardian Stones in Riverwood - useful as a tank; you can use console commands to add Spriggan abilities to him, he looks even more cute then, LOL)
Starter homes that won't affect any mods:
* Home in a Hat (no exterior, cozy compact interior)
* Snow Globe House (beautiful snowy entrance, and spacious multi-floor interior)
* Alchemist's Globe (beautiful garden entrance, and cozy compact interior)
Huh.. never knew that.
It did disable them (and marked my saves as "modded") when i used the command in Starfield recently, so i figured it was the same for vanilla Skyrim.
These chests are usually buried beneath the ground near the vendor. You may be able to find many of these using the Toggle Collision command.
I don't know why Bethesda didn't just create a separate cell linked to each City/Town and put the vendor chests there. A linked cell that cannot be traveled to is what I used to place the Planter NPCs for active soil plots for a player home I created. This kept the NPC's from spawning in or around the house when the soil was used. I believe this is how Bethesda setup the Hearthfire DLC Build-Your-Own-Home (BYOH) planter NPCs.
Isn;t obtainig ANY item in game via mods or consoles is lazy exploit? Dude , 2 chest throughout whole game with some random loot worth honestly almost nothing is not worth even mentioning as exploit) it's just thing come into my mind when i visited Dawnstar my 1st playthrough in many years.
Buddy, don't worry about anyone challenging some semantics.
Just enjoy the game you want to.
Try out the basic/starter mods I recommended in my earlier comment.
They are nice without feeling as if they are cheats.
I did, thx! I'm quite experienced player tbh just passed so much time u know, i'm glad i can experience some moments here like for the first time. Game still great for exploring especially with mods, i do hope Bethesda won;t ♥♥♥ up with TES 6
Via mods..... depends, some you have to buy, some you have to craft, some are rewards for a quest, these are not exploits, these are adding them to the game.... items just lying out in the open, yes those you can consider lazy.
Oh and exploit has a specific meaning here, it means taking advantage of bad design of the game.... something which is contrary to that Old School claim you made (Old School refers back to eighties and earlier when games where routinely hard, it was coined in the early noughties when games where getting easier)(which obviously does not combine with using an EXPLOIT)
