Must have mods?
just like it happens with Fallout 4, im wondering if skyrim has mods that ppl consider as "must have" no matter what.*

In fallout 4 the unoficial fallout 4 patch from nexus is one of those "must have" things also the slow loading screens fix mod and few others.

Is there anything like that for skyrim or vanilla works just fine?

also why so many boooba mod?

I recommend you play the game without mods awhile first. Then decide about mods that will add more foliage. Get the mod for having more than one companion. Another mod for a greater selection of horses too. One with a variety of women, not just the games one size that fits the same bra.
Most of the time there are two. The game only provides one size. So a mod with a variety will offer you Large ones, medium ones, and small ones too. So many heights to look at of different women with two. Lactating maybe too? One a little bigger than the other. I don't stare. Business before pleasure I always heard say.
Must have mods for Skyrim? Because you made such mention of them I can't seemed to get my mind off of cream.

Vanilla works fine to a point but there are still an insane amount of bugs that exist. The consensus is play a vanilla game for the first time around. But the "eseentials" imo would be

SKSE (required for SkyUI and Engine Fixes)
Sky UI
Engine Fixes
USSEP - This one fixes thousands of bugs that Bethesda never bothered to. I have left this one last because recently it has become contentious morphing from bug fixing to the authors personal take on things such as the infamous Shor's Stone debate ( a topic for another thread). That said not having it would be difficult to say the least.

After this every thing else is just personal flavour and preference. As for the booba mods couldn't tell you why may be people are just horny. The Nexus does however allow you to filter them out if you feel inclined to do so.

The person above is absolutely right. I would add ordinator to this list because the vanilla skill tree is boring and hopeless.

i feel like the "core" and "fix" mods are the "Must have's". You've got a LOT of those, so i won't list them, but things like bug fixes AE, Actor Limit Fix, Jcontainers, MCMHelper, SkyUI, Truehud/Ihud, mfgFix etc..
Without those, a lot of other mods won't work, so i consider those to be the "must have's".

People like them? + if you think the Skyrim community hub is bad, don't look at the Cyberpunk one............
Anyway, There's a lot of other mods to choose from. May i suggest taking a look at mods by JaySerpa?

Ordinator becomes very unbalanced very quickly in protagonist's favor. I'd say vanilla is fine.

Tbh vanilla does the same I mean I have tried A LOT of perk mods and it's always the same .... best is to balance it with experience and a skill uncapper and then use a custom uncapper.ini that lets you level way slower

i use Ordinator etc.. but set the "Experience Multipliers" mod to 0.5X or lower, which really slows down levelling. (You can set it even lower, or to -off-, making levelling almost impossible.)
If your in for a serious challenge, that's one way of doing it....

There is no such thing as a must-have mod. Even the content from mods which has been included by default is just a potentially pleasant extra (which is not realized in the minds of those who use additional mods to remove the Creation Club content).
There are some quality of life mods which are nice to have, however. I would recommend Skyclimb to ease traversal around the uneven terrain found all over the game world by adding the feature that was strangely removed from the series at TES 3 and added to Starfield to try to bring the game play more up to date by restoring a feature removed decades ago.

Bug fixes like unnoficial patch, sse engine fixes and sky UI are the only thing I would consider truly essential.
A very nice to have as well would be some graphical mods(SMIM, Skyrim 202X,Skyland), racemenu, and probably skyhud+truehud

Somebody mentioned ordinator, and I'm going to be strongly against it because it adds way too much stuff to be even considered skyrim. If you're considering perk overhauls(they're by no means "must have" but they add much needed options) I'm going to suggest Vokrii from the same author. Alternative would be adamant which is even closer to vanilla but you're kinda forced to install the entire package because it's balanced around his other mods

I didn't notice anything unbalanced on Legendary difficulty. In addition, you need a lot of skill points even for one branch. Some features like fast block add bunch of fun to the game.

skyrim reputation , guards dialouge overhaul . all EVG mods, SkyClimb , BringOutYourDead (not on nexus) , theres a lot of good mods which are not listed on Most-downloaded mods , if you are interested in such (mods i mentioned) go watch Weekly-Recommendation YT videos/ or you can check the list of mods in Nexusmod-Collections and download ones u want
vee-kay Jun 10, 2024 @ 1:47am
Look at the Collections in NexusMods site, filter for Essentials and for your game version.
Install the Essentials Collection that matches your game, it ought to install most of the bug fixes and patches. You need to make sure SKSE, AddressLibrary and Payload Interpreter are installed properly, as these will be needed by most mods.

Assuming you are playing on AE (Anniversary edition) of Skyrim.
