Help Skyrim keeps freezing when I talk to merchants
I just bought the game on here yesterday and started playing, but once I selected to take items from Gerdur, it completely froze. I could only move the menu in and out, and take the items, but no matter what other buttons on my controller or keyboard I pressed, nothing happened. I reloaded three more times and the same happened each time.
I tried buying from Alvor instead and the same thing happened, the scene is frozen, music still plays, I can buy and sell but I can't exit out, so I have to tab out and force game shutdown.

I've played hogwarts legacy, palworld, and assassin's creed on here all without issues, I updated my gpu, I'm using windows 11, and I haven't added any mods which seem to be most people's issue with this game freezing.
Here's my computer specs:

Processor AMD Ryzen 5 4600H with Radeon Graphics 3.00 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.37 GB usable)
Device ID A7D60F91-7394-4AEE-973C-89B72E24B402
Product ID 00325-81710-43487-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Please help T-T I only know basic computer stuff T-T

Did you ever end up figuring this out? I am having the same issue, I uninstalled all my mods and still nothing. I just wanna play my game lol T_T
The OP system specs appear to meet minimum, but are lacking greatly. They are using a laptop with integrated graphics and only 8 GB of RAM. This game requires a dedicated graphics card, at least 16 GB RAM, and virtual memory allocated as two times the RAM. Their system was locking up because power options were not setup for game performance.

Secondly, Uninstalling mods and using the same character does nothing as mod changes are 'baked' into the save. To truly troubleshoot, you would remove a mod and create a new character to test.
