Questions about golden hills
Hi, so I had an idea I don't want to use golden hills as a home, but I was wondering, if I plant a bunch of crops and let them collect overtime, will it cause issues if I plant, let them collect in the pantry, and then return after 14-20 hours. Issues such as game crashes or corrupted game saves? It would be a near infinite amount of ingredients though.

The plants don't harvest themselves, unless you have a mod for that. You will have to come back and manually pick them each time. But there shouldn't be any issues if you stockpile them up in a safe container for later. Unless of course getting into quantities where might run into an overflow error.

The gold earned overtime at Golden Hills, will accumulate until you pick it up however.

*don't often use this location myself, and info bout it was buried a bit in the wiki.

Yeah, don't usually use the farm myself, and the info on the auto-harvesting is a bit buried in the wiki. Just found that bit of info on there myself. Guess more reason to get it set up early to have a good supply of potion materials.

Thanks for the info I've been reluctant to use it for a while because of this, but I do want unlimited supply to every crop in the game.

The plants don't pick themselves, but if you have a steward and some farm hands they do pick the plants.... but not the ones in the planters.
And they get stored in the pantry cupboard, but they get sold if you don't collect them, the chest upstairs should be safe for collecting though.
