The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition

Scroll, Tomes, Spells, Winterhold & the whole mess.
Okay I did a bit of exploring on my first day or so on Skyrim, however I really wanted to strengthen up my high elf with some magic as a defense. So I went to winterhold. I got in, sorted one big mess for them and have my room.

Now from what I can work out, the scrolls are with merchants or in temples, tomes you, can buy from traders, spells I am not sure about and winterhold so far is giving me missions which really is stealing back from one, making a deal with another and mostly idol chit chat.

DId I make a mistake going to winterhold? I am glad I have my room and place to stay while I am low on gold. But I really wanted abit more and not sure what to do next.

Okay seriously stuck now, i went to the location of Myrwatch and its not there just a huge rock. I searched all around but nothing, I have the anniversary edition and i just installed content and sure enough myrwatch is listed. But I am level 8 and I can not see it anywhere.

What do i do?

There is an extra update for upgrade club content I think it says but thats extra $30 and my game already says myrawatch is installed.

It may not have downloaded correctly, you'll have to try and download Myrwatch again.

It's not level dependant, I acquired it at level 2.
yeah i think i have an issue i downloaded the game but i cant get into club creations it keeps asking me for an email address as i didnt set up and account with bethesda so I am not sure what to do.

Do I create an account on the bethesda website itself?

Okay I dont understand why I have to even do this, My tower is missing okay, i verified my game files nope nothing. I got on and off a few times still nothing. I check installed content, myrwatch is listed. I google it says go to creation club to install the file. I dont have an account created, I go through all of that mess, only to hit the CANT CONNECT TO BETHESDA SERVER.......i am like WTF. I just want the mage tower so i can set up and continue with my game......
They been "having problems" 4 a while, an I suspect they'll continue to ignore, their dodgy website.

I don't think there is a solution except to ticket Bsoft, an hope they bother replying.
If I had of known this was a problem with this game, I would not of brought it. I finally get into a swing of doing things and find my best place to set up and offload everything and now i cant do it.......really annoying......
I put in a support ticket to resolve this, should I not get a positive outcome from there are there any other mage towers in skyrim besides myrwatch???

Okay time for a brief update, I was busy yesterday but I did go on breifly and I have stayed in Falkeath and have completed 2 bounties so far. I must admit I did still use sparks for that. I shouldnt have. The point of the lower level bounties was to try with my level 2 magic, and practice since I cant use it. So the bow, which I also have been avoiding.

So I am going to go into the barracks today and practice these with the targets and see how i go, see if i can get consistency.

There is an additional question, there are 2 houses available the 5000 which to me is overpriced.....LOL and the 7500 house. If you have the gold for it, can you immediately go for the higher priced one instead of the cheaper one? It has more room etc than the smaller one and if i am going to buy I might as well buy what I want. Its just the town or city to buy it is the issue.

Don't waste time buying a house in Falkreath. There are not many quests in Falkreath except the quests for the two dogs (*hint, hint*).

If you walk from Falkreath on the road back to Riverwood, you'll spot the Alchemist's Shack beside the road. It's near Haemar's Shrine cave (which itself is a quest location for another dog).

So enjoy your stay at the Alchemist's Shack, collect ingredients from nearby and improve your alchemy at the alchemy station at the shack. There's a mod that adds a nice basement to the Alchemist's Shack,

If you head back to Riverwood, you'll see the Guardian Stones at the bend in the road beside the river. There's a tiny island nearby, opposite to the hunter's camp. Get the mod from Creations Club, that adds a Werebear called Warren to that island. He's cute and terrifying, and a solid warbeast, and he comes with his own collection of healing honey, and a vicious bee/wasp!

There's a manor called Lakeview manor (in Falkreath Hold), and you can acquire for free if you use the "Alternate Start - Live A Life" (AS-LAL) mod to start a new game.
I am already in morath or what that place is called because I went there looking for myrwatch. But that is a fiz unless tech support gets back to me which by the sounds of chat, I was silly to purchase this game considering there record of fixing things,

But I did like Whiterun, but after looking I can see why people are throwing solitude at me as well. Are there any freebies in solitude at all?
There shoild b a book on the ground at Myrwatch, is that there?

Come to think of it, Skyrim has a ton less bugs then FO3 FO:NV an FO4, practically no Crash to desktop, no graphical issues, a pure joy to play. You should forgive them, the occasional slip up.... Skyrim is very very stable.

N.B gonna head to Myrwatch my self, have a look.

If i recall as I am not on right now, I think there is a marker on the map that says "quick test cell...." If i scoot over it I end up being pushed a just a little further along. But otherwise i am standing in water.

But otherwise there is the waters edge and a high cliff face. its really strange.

I jus went, mines there, and loaded? hmm Is there a corpse by a fire, at myrwatch?
Okay i went back to double check in case there is something on the ground. For background, I am exactly and i mean EXACTLY where the marker is on this map. Looking for all the markers geographically and all, I am there, on the ground near the water is only a very large tree thats it and nothing on top of the cliff face either.

Just to clarify, Tundra Homestead is where it's supposed to be right? And you can see Hendrehiem on the map south of Rorikstead? Is it just Myrwatch that's gone?
