Step By Step On How To Install Nolvus On Steam Deck Please.

Hello everyone,
I wish to know how to get Nolvus running on my Steam Deck OLED.
I went ahead and bought Skyrim Special Edition from the steam store along with the anniversary upgrade guys.
I have been trying to get the Nolvus installer to run for two days now but all it does is tell me that the directory where I have Nolvus installed is too long and it requires as short a directory as possible.
I can’t see where to create my own directory in desktop mode so I know I must be doing something wrong.
Did I mention I have no idea what I’m doing and I’m just flying by the seat of my pants?
This is why I need the patience and step by step instructions from someone who has successfully done this and is willing to impart their knowledge with me.
I’m sure it’s a way simpler process than what I am putting myself through, basically I’m “running around” like a chicken without a head.
Please, I need your help, I really want to get completely lost and absorbed in Nolvus like so bad guys.

Ask on the Nolvus discord. Really, that's where you'll have the best chances of getting help.

Since Nolvus is essentially a commercial product, why should we offer you any support for free? Not that we could, even if we wanted to, since it's a gigantic, highly complex black-box.

I installed Nolvus back in January without having a clue, hell I'd never even played Skyrim before and its very simple, their site has a step by step guide.

There is a section in their auto installer where it asks you to select the directory where you want to install your instance, just select it from there or manually type it in.

As I said their site has a step by step guide, you really cannot go wrong.

I do not own a Steam Deck but I believe that to create a folder on the Steam Deck you need to be in desktop mode as you said you are, hold down your finger on the screen until a pop appears at the top of the screen. Then select more, then create new, select folder, click on the Steam and X buttons together to bring up the keyboard and name it what you want. Finally click on OK, close the keyboard and the folder should be there.

Then select that folder in the Nolvus launcher, if you want to create an archive as well as an Instance make another folder, remember name them something short like Nolvus 1 and Nolvus 2, that's what I did and it worked first time.

Remember that the Instance folder will be 300GB and the Archive will be 125GB so make sure you have the room.

I would also add that even Nolvus at its lowest version is going to push the Steam Deck hard, 20-30FPS inside and will dip into the teens outside from what I have heard so be aware.
