Enderal is a total conversion, it runs from a copy of Skyrim and has a separate launcher. What doesn't launch anymore? Skyrim? Enderal?

So, what doesn't work, then?
odd, Enderal is a separate game these days, it just requires you to own SE (you don't even need it installed).... It and SE should not be affecting each other.

Enderal was always a separate installation. Especially since it needs the 1.5. version.

You weren't around on when it wasn't..... that might have been LE though.

It used to be an overhaul that rewrote the game, so you couldn't play Skyrim and Enderal at the same time, and if they didn't use the uninstaller that came with it, then they broke both Enderal and Skyrim.... There used to be hundreds of threads begging for help fixing Skyrim after they uninstalled Enderal..... It tends to linger on the memory.

I was, and that was the early version on LE.

As long as Enderal LE/SE has been on Steam it has used a separate, modified, contained version of Skyrim, and acts as a separate entry in Steam/MO2/Vortex.

The new manual version (2.1.0), however, directly from the mod page also supports Skyrim SE 1.6.640-1.6.1179.

That one shouldn't be installed manually, only with MO2 or the built-in auto-installer.

OP should provide crucial information, such as how they installed Enderal, how they uninstalled it, and what doesn't work any longer.

Isn't Enderal an alternative to Ozempic?

know there's multiple ways to install, and depending on how you did it, things go sideways. it's a total conversion but it's still just a collection of mods, when you do it manually; when you install via Steam you get a separate isolated older skyrim that's placed in a different directory, though, and it's mostly isolated... but not completely.

one problem could be, that if it uses the .ini for the engine reads from the default directory, you're trying to run a modern .ini setup for an old version, that's tweaked to death, and regular skyrim is now unhappy about this. I would start there, see if your two .inis have datestamps of the day you installed enderal, and if so, rename them so the game creates fresh new ones. If the game starts, then edit the new ones as you see fit.

As written before, Enderal SE is a total conversion and uses its own version of SSE, which is version 1.5.97, which has not been updated since some date in 2022. It also uses a seperate folder structure, which is automatically installed. It uses it own ini's, launcher, etc.

Question is, what did OP do to cause Skyrim not to run? More info is needed! For me Skyrim SE v1.6.1170 runs fine, Enderal SE with Skyrim 1.5.97 also runs fine. Only problem I have at the moment is that I can't use the Creation Kit for Enderal SE as it requires a different version.
