SKSE is reporting the correct version is wrong. EngineFix [Solved]
Hey, my whole set of mods corrupted despite nothing changing. I've been trying to fix it for days and currently am dealing with the "Incorrect version of skyrim, did it get an update?" Error from SKSE. Problem is I absolutely have the correct version of everything.

The website states: "Current Anniversary Edition build 2.2.6 (game version 1.6.1170):"
I have double checked that is my version of skyrim and that is my version of SKSE. I double checked Part 1 and 2 of SSE, and Address Library for versions but everything is correct.

I've looked at the actual installation videos and how to actually install all of them.

Edit: Use version for 1.6.6+ despite running skyrim 1.6.1170
Also, if you need help, I now have a lot of experience lol

SSE Engine Fixes needs to have 2 .ini line files changed, did you do that?

Read this guide, especially about the necessary tweaks to engine fixes as said above:

The Creator wrote back about this problem in vortex. I haven't applied it yet but I'm using 1.6.xxx and I am supposed to be using 1.6.6+ despite having version 1.6.117

whoaaaa

What game version do you have?

If you are on 1.6.1170.0 you need to make the following changing with note pad to EngineFixes.toml.

EnableAchievementsWithMods = false
SaveScreenshots = false

Standard Location is steam/steamapps/commom/skyrim special edition/data/skse/plugins/EngineFixes.toml.

I did do that and it's working now. I was using a version I was told to use but wasn't the one I needed.
