What are some things that still bug you or annoy you in Skyrim?
Skyrim, one of the most Beloved Games from the minds of Todd Howard... oh how they have fallen from grace.

But Skyrim isn't as perfect as we all want, and we should shed the Rose Tinted Glasses from time to time to ground ourselves. So here we can share the things that Grind our Gears or just bug the hell out of us about Skyrim! Feel free to share yours.

-Couriers. They are unavailable, they ALWAYS know where you are. Oh and you cannot get out of their Dialogue. Once they initiate the Conversation you gotta Spam Skip and hope that Dragon doesn't target you next cause this Delivery Man doesn't care if you are literally being attacked by a World Ending Threat... he will make sure you know about that Museum in Dawnstar!

-Enemies who are always aware of you. This is partially Mod Fault and as stated with Couriers, they always know where you are. Even if you use Mods to have nothing but Sneak Buff Clothes, 300%+ to your Sneak Efficiency, Invisible and the best Muffle you can Enchant plus the Spell Muffle? Oh that Courier knows exactly where you are... and depending upon AI at times, especially if they are programmed to initiate conversations with the Dragonborn, doesn't matter if you are the literal God of Stealth... they know exactly where you are...

-Arrow/Sword Sponge Enemies at Higher Difficulty. Honestly I usually keep myself at Apprentice or Adept, cause unless you use Cheese Enchanting, Mods or just abuse Stealth, most Enemies can tank 40+ Arrows and even Dragonbone Weapons... arguably the best Damaging Weapons in the Game with Max Upgrades and Max Enchantments... they still take 20+ Hits to eventually bring down. This isn't even Plate Armored people... this is Bandits wearing FUR! I don't know why Bethesda decided that More Health+Less Player Damage equals Challange?

Seriously... all increasing the Difficulty really does is make you do less Damage and the Enemies do more Damage. Your Dragonbone Sword of Ballbusting may do 300 Damage Stat-Wise... but actual Gameplay you're averaging 20dmg...

1. They simplified the whole character system compared to previous games. No primary attributes, no classes or favorite skills, no starting bonuses. With just the racial bonuses, every character feels like coming fresh off the conveyor belt, lacking any backstory.

2. Fewer quests, shorter questlines, no prerequisites to join factions, or any downsides to joining them all.

3. Silly clothing/armor made out of fur scaps and leather strips. It's snowing, ffs!

4. Everything is level-tied to the player.

Long story short, what annoys me the most is that a lot has been dumbed down and casual-ified if compared to previous titles.

Yeah, together with half the spells.

"most Enemies can tank 40+ Arrows"

you're either using hyperbole to make your point, or YOU are the problem not the game; seriously dude learn to use the enchanting and smithing system, and I'm not saying exploit it either, just what's possible legally and glitch-free.

even a level-appropriate dragon shouldn't take 40 freakin' arrows... unless maybe half missed. your mods and damage/damageresist settings are a bit out-of-balance, is all. How is that fun for you? Oh, right, it's not. So do something about it!

Bro... 3000+ Hours on PC and 2000+ on the XBox 360/One... I know the stuff. This thread isn't here to sh*t on other players...

Now since you decided to be a douche imma be one right back. Since you didn't read my Post, you'll see that I state that at earlier Levels makes fighting even the Low Level Bandits to tank Arrows like its nothing, assuming the Player isn't trying to Meta Game or MinMax, it can and will take you multiple Shots to hit a Target. Now this is coming from a more Logical Standpoint, as it shouldn't take more then 5-10 at most to bring down a dude wearing Fur Pants and his ManTits showing...

Does that explain everything Douchebag?

Honestly this has been a trend in Bethesda Games, the dumbing down of what made the Series so great. We saw it with FO4 and Starfield is barely a RPG... it's barely a Shooter. The Stats you choose barely affect the Game.

I also agree on the Factions thing, with no PRerequisate they take anyone... plus the fact you can go to the Mage's College and never once cast a Spell... kinda ruins the whole "Mage College" thing doesn't it.

Seeing how many bugs there are when I read about stuff in the skyrim wiki. The amount of rampant little (and surprisingly big) bugs in the creations mods especially. Par for the course these days.

That it's a bad game. Secondary product of Bethesda's success in the past.
It's like the orcs in TES. Daedric prince Todd digested the work of Daggerfall and Morrowind designers and pooped out Oblivion.
Then ate that stinking pile again and processed it into Skyrim.
And now it thrives because it has the necessary qualities to survive on modern market despite being ugly and less sophisticated than its predecessors.
And its fans, even though they hold a resentment towards the daedric prince, think being poop is a good thing.
But at least this orc still has soul unlike the artificial abominations other AAA games are

One thing bugs me...... where did all the callipers go?
You couldn't move for them in Oblivion and Morrowind, but none in Skyrim???

Nothing, really. except for 2 things 1 no unarmed skill and number 2 is no spellmaking i havent used spellmaking in oblivion or morrowind yet but i saw some people saying its really good so i think they should have put it in skyrim too but i think i see why they cut it

M'aiq collected most of them, and the rest was sold to Tove the Unrestful.

The bad voice acting with the absolutely obnoxious accents, the males and females having accents from entirely different national dialects. The abundance of gratuitous "strong women." The anti-male chatter of many NPCs. Women running around in full plate mail with large weapons. The horrid bards with their songs of getting beaten up by a girl. The inability to enchant clothing with armor class. People running around half naked in the snow. Having to slaughter thousands of women to accomplish the content. Getting sent to beat up women when joining the companions. Every character you create is just a cookie-cutter person indistinguishable from any other except looks.

Quest locked interiors and exteriors! Some of these are completely unnecessary, such as Kilkreath Ruins and Orphan Rock.

One thing comes to mind. I'm walking around with about 190,000 gold. Maybe they should've had a system of making gems rarer and worth more.

Maybe they should do a surival mode 'survival mode' so I can just carry gems instead of all this gold. And maybe bankers. Oh well, save it for Elderscrolls 6....
