for the OCD types among us, is there anything more immersive than a Pokemon-esque "gotta catch 'em all!" museum to yourself, housing everything and yes I do mean thousands and thousands of crap you've dragged home in nice neat aligned cases on display? No, you lack an understanding of what people find makes their game more immersive. It is not your place to judge what is and is not immersive to somebody. Or we could judge your suggestion of "holidays" ... maybe you need a holiday.

I improved my immersion by silencing the constant references to modern day social pieties, removing heavy armors and weapons from females, and eliminating the requirement for killing thousands of females with "No NPC Greetings, Simple Outfit Manager, and Masculinized Level Lists."

The three top immersive mods available. If you want an immersive game, you need to establish a proper foundation.

This will still not stop Farkas from sending you to beat up women after you first join the Companions. Bethesda just isn't happy unless you're beating up women all the time.

There are reasons it wouldn't be possible irl but I guess it's fine in this kind of fantasy

Lmao. There's no reason a female wouldn't be able to wear heavy armor or weapon. Realistically they're not THAT heavy.
If there's anything that should be unavailable for weaker characters it's bows

"Strike Obstruction System"

It changes how blocking works, and it's visual effects. Hold up a shield at the right time, and you can block the hit (+ any Poison applied via the hit. Is configurable, for both you and NPC's.)

If you run out of stamina, it's difficult to keep your block up, and enemies suffer the same effects (Configurable)

No more holding up your shield and getting smacked for 2/3 of your health anyway. Naturally, big weapons *will* knock you back, break your block etc..
It doesn't make using a shield OP, It makes it so you use it, and enemies can also block YOUR hits with their shields, making you need to break them and wear them down, before you can defeat them.

It makes "Block" into the skill it's meant to be, and for that i think it's quite "immersive".
