Clarity over OBody & Bodyslide presets
Hi guys,
I just wanted a bit clarity if I get this right.
Is it possible to have female NPCs use different Body Presets (BHUNP in my case) automatically with the mod OBody installed?

I know I have to build those bodies first in Bodyslide but will OBody put those different BHUNP presets on female NPCs?
Or do I have to manually change every NPC afterwards?

In body slide the center button (Build) just does your body. The bottom on the Left (Batch Build) is the one you run with zero slider to bring all the body presets and armor presets into game.

Back in the day with Auto Body and original O Body you would do your Batch Build with zero sliders and then use Build last to do your own body so it does not get over-written.

With latest OBody NG, something changed or it is something with the latest game version .1170.0, just use the Batch Build. While in game use racemenu to do your body. Personally I'll use the O key from obody to get something close that I like and then make final tweaks with racemenu. I'm not sure what changed or if there are instructions somewhere. I just know what issues I had and what I used as a work-around. I use 3BA, but any of the UNP body types should be the same method. Since you use BHUNP make sure your body presets are for it.

If you have custom armors you need to pay attention while the batch is being built. If something is not showing up in game or is invisible use the Top Right Search (Filter Outfit) using armor name and then select one piece of the set Top Left (OutFit Body) select zeroed slider in box below and the run batch build just for that set/sets. Hopefully you found a zeroed slider preset for the vanilla and CC content armor, you'll need if you are trying to run thick curvy girls.

Hope that helps you some.

If the grammar is messed up, sorry been pulling long overnight shifts and I should sleeping but doggo had to go :(. Hopefully Faux can chime in if you have more questions.

It will randomly generate from the the preset files you have when you run bodyslide, be sure to use zero slider, male / females are run separately. Once in game you can manually change any npc plus yourself with the O key.

I'm just wondering how it uses the different presets when I only build one on the zeroed sliders or does the zero slider mean it includes all the presets above?

It uses the zeroed body to apply the preset slider values to dynamically in game. It really is as simple as the explanation above and in the installation instructions make it out to be.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

lol thanks. Forgot to mention, make sure the little check box (Build Morphs) is selected to the right of Batch Build, just can't remember if it is already on with newer versions of body slide, earlier versions you had to select it. Things won't work with it selected though.
