Trouble is, Vortex told me that my old game version was 1.6.1170 which is supposed to be AE. And I've never had AE. Only SSE.
And because there's a big Bethesda logo over where the game version used to be, I'm having problems trying to figure out exactly which version of SSE is current.
So I might just backdate it to v1.6.640 and have done with it.
Even if you look at a new download of Skyrim in it's game folder, under the SSE launcher under details, it says that SSE is 1.6.1170. But I thought that was just for AE?
johnny, let it download, who cares? if you bought AE, you bought AE, but other than the main 4 that are integrated into SE which you really should leave alone; fish, curios, saint/seducer, survival... the rest of the .es? that start with "cc" you can just move out of Data into a holding directory, like "do not want" and it won't find nor try and use them.
edit: nevermind, you're confused too about SE/AE. :-)
Always could

i'm very strict on myself when it comes to vanilla game balance. not to say vanilla is balanced but it's how I originally experienced the game; so this stuff being in the game just bothers me.
You can add it back at anytime by going back to the support page for it, but it's removed from your account completely until you add it back.
