You earn more money if you complete the quest at higher level
Didn't really know this. Supposedly the enemies are higher level as well but this makes me think I shouldn't do quests until later.

Found this out recently, namely with the Thieves Guilds jobs. Early on if you do them, you get 100 or so gold. But when you're nearly level 50, you get 500 gold. Surprised I never noticed this, given how much I like playing thieves.

There may be exceptions, but yeah. The rewards are scaled based on your level at the time. Not just the gold, but the power of magic items can as well (there may be multiple version at various power levels). Chillrend, for example, has 6 different versions based on your level, with the most powerful only appearing at level 46 or more.

The Companions radiant quest rewards, however, are based on the level you were for the last Companion radiant quest you did, and not the current one.

My min/max instincts are twitching.

Pretty much everything is scaled to your level. That said, the expenses (ammo, potions, soul gems, etc.) also increase in price as their quality goes up, so it's somewhat balanced.

My advice, just forget about the levelled rewards, money is easy enough to make. Play as you wish.

This^^

although there are a few quests I leave until higher level, but that's mostly because harder enemies pop up and make it more fun (for those specific quests)

Also quest rewards as in unique weapons are levelled are different for instance a level 60 dawnbreaker does a lot more damage than a level 20 dawnbreaker.

Dawnbreaker isn't one of the items that is leveled - there is only a single version of Dawnbreaker.

originally it was levelled, still not sure if it's enchantment is levelled or not, every source seems to have a different set of facts on this....

No, it didn't level. Dawnbreaker itself has never leveled in Skyrim. Its damage, like the damage for all weapons, does increase as your skill goes up. But the base stats of the weapon itself are always the same. Unlike with Chillrend, which as I said earlier has 6 different versions with 6 different levels of power.

The number of unique leveled items[en.uesp.net] (not counting the randomly generated ones) is actually rather small.

Dawnbreaker is not leveled - the base stats remain the same regardless of level (as per xEdit). However, it can be tempered.

You have nothing to worry about. Money is practically useless in Skyrim.
