Where is the mod menu?
The mod menu that was on the main menu is gone and I read that it's now kinda fused with the Creation Club on Steam but I can't find it absolutely anywhere and it's driving me crazy. I like to use Nexus mods but some mods that I love were exclusive to the native Bethesda.net mods menu and now I can't find any menu either in game or on Steam itself. Anybody know anything?

Assuming you are running the most up-to-date game version, the former "Creation Club" and "Mods" tabs have been combined in the single "Creations" tab in your menu (which takes you to Bethesda.net where you can access community mods and official content. If you don't have a "Creations" tab in your menu, something is off with your game. If that is your situation, you will need to search for other solutions because I still run game ver. 1.5.97, and have never logged on to bethnet from the in-game portal and thus have nothing else to add.

It has an .ini setting that will disable the Mod menu:

[General]
bModManagerMenuEnabled=1

If it is set to 0 then it will not show.

In which ini file is it? because I looked in both skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini and didn't find it

Not saying this is your problem, just that it has an .ini-setting for it. If it is not set in any of your .ini-files then it should be enabled by default. You can try setting it to 1 by putting it into your .ini files to see if it makes a difference. However, your problem will probably be elsewhere.

Apart from this, I would recommend not mixing Bethesda's mods with mods from Nexusmods. While mod managers can work with both are many mods from Nexusmods.com aware of mod managers and support their features, allowing you to resolve problems very early. Mods installed through the Mod menu just get thrown in place whether these conflict or not. Not saying you cannot do it, it is just more difficult to resolve problems this way.

Okay, well all that is a bit of a shame but I discovered that I do still have said mods on another drive on which I installed Skyrim previously. So that's a little bit of a workaround to at least get the files I had previously but sadly not any new ones. Oh well, this is already a good step. But thanks for the help!
