Modlist Recommendation
tldr: Try Fahluaan.

-

I have been into heavily modding BGS games since the early 2000s with Morrowind.
Its become a lot easier over the years and I have to say that I feel no shame in utilizing the many massive modlists that change the modding stage from a hair pulling experience into one of ease and diverse choice.

That out of the way,
I have tried about 5 of the 'big' modlists for Skyrim:SE/AE over the past year
and most recently have settled on a playthrough with Fahluaan.

it is excellent, cohesive, and so far stable. By far the best experience for my time thus far,
that is if you aren't looking for a Requiem style playthrough...

Just wanted to put this out there for any on the fence with what to do with a fresh playthrough.

btw, off the top of my head the lists I've tried out so far are Lost Legacy, Living Skyrim IV, Tempus Maledictum, Elysium Remastered, Wunduniik.
For more hardcore trials I've only tried Do Not Go Gentle and Wildlander.

Nolvus looks amazing, but I don't vibe with that combat style and skyrim at all, unfortunately.

Also limited to 8g vram because Nvidia insists on effing consumers over...
My gpu from 2015 had 12g vram for chrissake
