Another sign of disaster

Update disabled, I have a little more and I also disable the internet, it's the last thing I have to do. SKSE v.226-Done,PapyrusUtil compatible with this SKSE-Done version. After the last update, even with all Steam, Nexus update functions disabled...when starting the game BUMMM.....PapyrusUtil incompatible with the game version !!!! All this time it worked, after the last update ... it doesn't work anymore! Normally I should get a little outraged but instead, I burst out laughing...because I'm so stupid and I'm in this game! ...at first I tried, maybe it's worth it in the end, but it seems that I'm crossing the limit of stupidity here. However, I'm not clear.... you want to attract more players with this or chase the existing ones, honestly, it has no logic.

There's no "official" function to disable updates in steam, anyway, you have to do it manually.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work, if I skip the warning, PapyrusUtil is totally disabled in the game (I already tried). It is the latest version of PapyrusUtil, there is no other version. But it's clear what's happening, you'll need a new version of SKSE, PapyrusUtil, a new version, then it will say that the game is an old version....so I'll have to start updating the game and that's it, I've updated all the nonsense that will have them! ...normally, the mods you have already installed will no longer work and you will end up where we left off...or where they want you to end up! From here 2 options, accept or leave.

Simply pick the correct mod versions, nexus even keeps them in the archive.

You can't have all the mods in the current version, that's clear, some mods were updated in 2022. Hence the problems, all that is updated in Nexus is... SKSE, PapyrusUtil.. and a few more basic ones. ..the rest are old mods, that denotes a dying game hahaha

The only mods that don't work with current version are third party applications like skse that rely on specific exe versions, and most of those have been updated. Some UI mods may have possibly broke too because of additions made to menus in updates scrambling the UI.

Otherwise old regular mods will still work fine. And if you truly protected the game from updating (like setting the app manifest file to read only), nothing will change on you and your game will work fine.

Also you can't update those third party programs like skse and stay on the older versions. They need to stay the old versions as well.

Also the gog version will let you roll back or install older versions of the game if you needed

...im not complain,not whining...just i show how from one good game some ppl hawe make one junk and im in. I hope to die fast this garbage,bring nothing good,just take money from ppl for nothing.

I have latest update installed, PapyrusUtil AE SE 4.6 works fine. even found a solution for KS Hair SMP.

What is the use of all these updates if it has messed up all the modes, absolutely the whole game with players and everything?! ...I know what you say, I go to some, and it worked for me, until today! Since the first update, the one from 2 weeks ago or when it was, at least I can no longer maintain the continuity of a game I start, on the 3rd or 4th restart with the same settings the same mods that worked from the beginning now no longer go, at one point everything gets corrupted and starts to get worse and worse... even Vortex shows suspicious signs, FNIS sometimes scans, sometimes not. It goes but it doesn't work... that's what I mean.

Bethesda has sold more than 60 million copies of Skyrim. Modders number are in the lower millions, but compared to that number it's still niche. And not all modders are using SKSE, which is the part that breaks every update.

FACT: Bethesda INFORMED us that this update was coming long in advance of its actual implementation. FACT: Information on how to prevent an update has been available for a long time. Everyone helped the OP and RESOLVED his problem because he very clearly asked for help and was specific as to what was wrong. You could learn quite a bit from that guy just by reading. You on the other hand seem to insult everyone who responds to you whilst throwing your toys around.

And sorry to burst your bubble, but no not everyone is having problems, Just those who whine the loudest and those by contrast who ask for help politely.
