I beg to differ with you. Yes I have played lower powered games in a virtual box. Today's computers are more than powerful enough to pull this off. I am not a Mac person but my other computer is a Linux computer that has Oracle's free virtual box, which has a version for a Mac. No not all games work but some do and the challenge to see what works can be fun. I am not guaranteeing this question asker it will work but it is worth a try.
Of course, running it in a virtual box would work, but why should anyone have to jump through so many loops? Just get a console or PC. You can easily buy both from the spare change after ordering a Mac.
Or simply refrain from buying that extra set of wheels, and it should be enough for a decent gaming rig.

Besides, I don't think that OP would be comfortable with tinkering. They want support!
I just looked into this at Oracle's web site to make sure there is a Mac version and there is however there seems to be an issue with the newest release for Mac's and newbies don't need issues. So right now now I am backing off this recommendation. Hope he/she is reading all this.
Or, just buy a gaming rig. That would be far easier.
